    Yeah, about that pipe... :-P

I actually can't find it anywhere. I installed my NWN, SoU, and CEP and got the NWN explorer and have gone through all the haks and I have no idea where it is. If anyone knows the model name or which hak its in let me know.

Agreed with Urithrand. The new mace model works, but it could be sharpened a little, literally and figuratively An almost spike-like edge was often used on maces to increase their impact on that one focal point, allowing them to penetrate armour.

Next, make a handaxe! They have exactly one model for each part. Same with flails, but that might be a little harder because of the chain part.

Aren't there already handaxes in game? Do you mean like a normal axe for chopping down trees? Elaborate :P

Should the top tip be sharpened too or just the sides?

If anyone else has any specific requests try to get me a pic and I'll take a crack at it. Obviously I can't guarantee that it will come out very good or that it will ever end up in Sundren but there's really no harm in making an attempt.

edit: Oh, and it seems someone goofed making the original maces for the game; instead of the top being part a the middle being b and the bottom being c it actually goes a,c,b. I followed suit with mine.

          Better? Worse?

          How about this?

i thought the old design looked better for a mace ... it is a bludgeoning weapon after all the new design makes it look more piercing then bludgeoning.

IMHO of course ... I thought the first design for the mace was perfect.

NWN smoking pipe. A reminder that the glow nor the smoke vfx exist in NWN2 in addition to the model. Its all custom.

As for handaxe's. I saw the Rural Items Pak got added to Sundren, and theres a bunch of shears, pitchforks, handaxes, cleavers, etc models in it already.

Not to sound as too much of a critic, but now I find the 'blades' of the mace to look a little bit too straight. Not sure how hard it would be, but could you try to make a sort of an inward curve, like here? It doesn't have to end in an ultimately sharp edge either.

Not sure how it will look with the double striking points, but I think it's worth a try if it isn't too much additional work.

As for the handaxes, Sundren's weapon pack has rakes, shovels, spoons, pots and pans, steins and more... but there is still only one handaxe model, the standard one, when using all of Sundren's haks.

                    This mace looks freakin awesome...

What if you could use that pattern on the hilt and apply it to the "blades" of the mace? How cool would that be?

That is awesome... is that level of detail possible on a NWN2 weapon?

                        This looks cool too.

                          No...

WAY too many poly's. I think the best you could do there is texture it to look like that and go ape-shit on the normal-bump.

First two are the same but with the two different heads I made.
                          Last one = brand-spank-new.

The first seem alright, kind of basic (not bad, just less fancy). I love the third, it has "evil cleric" written all over it.

Too high of poly count = bad for nwn2.

Ever wonder why they don't use the beholder creature? They have it, but if they spawn it, it crashes half the people that see it. Its poly count is so high, that the stress on player's video cards crashes NWN2.
