One of my chars is a Paladin of Kelemvor and it was fun to RP the whole temple being over-run by undead and burned down because even though being god of the dead sounds bad he is LN alignment(and for those who dont know Kelemvor is greatly opposed to undead)... I mean Helm is LN alignment.. I would be all for the doomguide class as well as some event in the near future to reclaim the original temple or creating a new one....

For me it is a little ironic that Doomguide is one class considered, as from the very beginning I was considering making one. I still am thinking of making one as my second character. Hell, I would be VERY interested in playing one.
And yeah, they strike me as very LN characters as well. More good than bad, doing what needs to be done rather than letting over-emotional behavior get the best of them.sigpic

Creating the "Eternal Order" may also be a viable player joinable faction to create a more indepth RP with clerics, paladins, and others who follow Kelemvor. (The eternal order being "a knightly order whose purpose is to hunt and destroy powerful undead. They develop powerful undead-fighting powers by sacrificing other paladin abilities." (taken from wiki) There seems to be a fair amount of undeath in sundren which would as i stated before be a great start for a few events and/or base for new quests. I hope this is considered because i already play as a Kelemvorite... it would be sweet.

I did not mean to imply this combination was exclusive. Certainly one could be any class and become a duelist, just getting that +6 BAB is the tough part. A pure bard for instance has to wait til 9th level for Duelist, while a rogue fighter can get it at 8th, and a pure fighter at 7th. This is why the swash is such a nice choice because it has full BAB and the right skills to easily make the prerequisites.
Additionally, the bard loses precious spell casting levels by taking that route. Still, this is an RP server so anything goes really.
The duelist is a nimble, intelligent fighter trained in making precise attacks with light weapons, such as the rapier. They always take full advantage of their quick reflexes and wits in a fight. Rather than wearing bulky armor, a duelist feels the best way to protect themselves is not to get hit at all. Duelists are most often fighters or rangers, but almost as often rogues or bards. Wizards, sorcerers, and monks make surprisingly good duelists due to those classes’ lack of reliance on armor.Dahdmib Al Faruk: Whirling Ranger

Hmm, drat too bad tieflings are closed and I'm not going to be active for long enough to have a chance at the closed races. I really want to make a tiefling rogue, swashbuckler invisible blade, duelist (No way I'd ever complete that, but I've wanted to make a character like that for literally, years. The home game that I played in didn't allow swashbucklers). I think it would be fun to run around without armor and be able to just dance around enemies.Lasala'ariira-A Woman Scorned.
