We counted later and in the space of about 4 rounds it critted me 7 times(I'm talking crit + crit on the confirmation roll 20/20's and such). I just chalk it up to the anti-snow hawk movement thats gaining momentum.
I am sure Phantom Lamb will just suggest to party up...wait...erm...forget it

My most frustrating death experience was actually not a death but a rez. My character had died and my kind partner was carrying the body back to the temple to raise me, but then he crashed.

I decided WTF, I'll just use a signus. So I happily rez with no loss of XP thanks to the happy magic siggy. Next thing I see is my old pal back on the server, happily heading toward the temple with my 'body'. We join party again and I send a tell to let him know that I am alive now, but the message doesn't get through.

Next thing I see myself ported right in front of our happy Abbot of Helm with a bunch of XP and gold gone.

Sounds like we need a pop up acceptance window for resurrection.

We solved that with the new resurrection toggle icon, which looks like a glowing ring. It won't happen again.

            Anti-death Checklist:
            - Invisibility Potions
            - Healing Kits
            - Defensive spell scrolls
            - At least two companions slower than me, dressed in bright distracting colors
How does the saying go? You don't have to outrun the bear only your slowest friend?

My worse death was in an event that was run by Mako. We fought a huge iron golem in the crossroads and after the fight was over and I was standing there talking basically unhurt from the fight I just suddenly die and gets transporter to fen.
First I didn't know what had happened but then i noticed that the golem had poisoned me and I had failed to notice it. It was particularity bad due to the fact that i was more then half way to level 16 and due to a bug, that made me lose even more XP then i was suppose to, I was at the beginning of level 14 afterwards :P

They can't be bought, they are found by some quests and given out by DM's from time to time

They also have a fractional percent chance of dropping.

My own cartel experience, I was doing the mountains with a group of 4-5. We were going through the chain-lightning trap too close together and managed to trigger the trap 3 times, since they reset. Triple chain lightning, failed all 3 reflex saves, instantly killed. I had endure elements, but it had worn off from either time or previous elemental based traps. Not to mention I was 2k away from a level. I really, really hate AOE traps.

i feel like i can relate to most of the stories (i.e. multiple crits in a row, a buff spell that faded when i rested, traps , trying to save someone, etc)

mine was probably getting caught up in a DM event (DM not named for my safety) and it was a bunch of heroes against one PC villian. to even the odds, the DM started casting extra spells at us. i got hit with a save or die (mind you, i was relatively low level at the time) and i died. the event ended with us winning but the DM didnt rez me. Shortly thereafter the server crashed. I popped back in and the DM (or any DM) was nowhere to be found. i lost a bunch of xp for being rezzed by the abbot PLUS i didn't even get any XP for participating in the event.

Oh man where do I start..Varnz is right that stun spell sucked pretty bad. And Elusa was pretty pissed off when that chain lightning trap got us.

MY most frustrating death would have to be when I was in the middle of an epic battle at the necropolis, and it suddenly lagged. My screen froze, then I crashed, as usual. When I logged back in, I was in fugue.

I survived, but my most frustrating (and only) death would have come earlier today when I was running from the gnoll chief in invisibility mode and I click to move on an empty patch of ground, but it goes through as a command to use my sling on some random goblin. Cue mad running type situation and daring escape.
