Tried connecting through Gamespy's server list? People say that is working for them.

Might want to have a look in your Windows Event log - sometimes that information is actually useful.

Start/Settings/Control Panel/Administrative Tools/Event Viewer - then look at all the entries of the last few minutes after the crash - and possible those right after boot

(if you use XP style start menu, Control Panel will be directly under Start)

No problems whatsoever here, not on Vista and not on XP, if that makes you feel any better

I recently noticed more crashing today. It has been pretty solid for a while too.

This is unrelated, but since this thread has gotten the attention of some Vista people, I figure I'll ask and not bother opening a new thread.

When I start my computer on Vista, I always, since day one, have gotten this message:

"AirPlusCFG.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point as apsApply could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll"

              Followed by:

"WZCSLDR2.exe - Entry Point Not Found

The procedure entry point apsInitialize could not be located in the dynamic link library wlanapi.dll"

And it has forever been this way, though without any visible problems in regards to running the computer or any programs that I'm aware of.

Anyone have any idea what that stuff means, if it is bad, and if so, what I should do about it?

it sounds like you're missing a dll/library file. Are you sure you never uninstalled some software or device? Judging from the name, perhaps something to do with WLAN?

Either the library is missing altogether, or it's there but a wrong version - the "is missing entry point" might indicate either. In any event, something that was once installed on your system seems to have been uninstalled incompletely, as far as I can tell.

A fix might be to reinstall it and then do another uninstall.

Vista is a little finicky about these things, so you need to make sure you have admin rights when you do all this.

Not that I have a Vista (blek) problem, but I almost always crash on load screen. Whenever I am in a party, and said party is traveling somewhere, I always crash. It's not a big issue, its just annoying.
