I am gonna have to break down and actually buy a copy of Windows XP. Ubuntu Linux was able to install it, but the updater doesn't work, and the manual process is a pain. The dual screen video stuff is hacked together and kinda broken as well.
I'm still gonna dual boot with Ubuntiu cuz Linux is hella faster and unbloated when it comes to just web surfin.

Save yourself the trouble and don't try to play games on linux or mac... just get a windows PC. If you like running servers though, linux is great.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
Also, if you'd really like to have some fun consider learning about virtual machines. You can set up windows to boot with different hardware profiles, and then run windows inside of linux while retaining dual-boot capability. It's something I have really been wanting to do, but not having the time for.
*Looking towards the horizon, where the understanding of Linux lies* - "My jorney to the end of the world is never going to stop...I see. I should head for the inn instead and rest so that I can do what I can..." - play NWN2 on Sundren of course.
Did I mention that i can not wait for my computer to come.
