Pretended to teach a few undergrads B.F. Skinners view on language acquisition. Then played a game of basketball with them, and now I am procrastinating on doing some of my comps.

Up since 4am getting ready to cart a few hundred souls to various places in Europe, out of work around 4.30pm.

Afterwards I'll go do a 5k run in a forest that's on the drive home, try and get the stench of aircraft off of my skin and some real air into my lungs.

Then I'll have maybe an hour or so to throw at zbrush or the nwn2 toolset before it's time to sleep ready for tomorrows 4am start.

I tried educating the youth of America, with mixed results. Then I logged in Sandro and melted some vampire faces in a failed attempt to feel awesome. Chasing the dragon of meaningful RP or at least wanton violence, I logged on my paladin and winded up punching Tyranus in the face until he beat me to a pulp with a shovel like a psycho, then we hugged it out. Later I started falling asleep playing my hardcore diablo 3 character and almost got her killed, so I decided my pathetic meatsuit required sleep and went off to dreamland.

              I drew some.

              Then I erased some.

              Then drew some.

              Then erased some.

              Then drew some.

              RP'd some.

              Drew some more.

              Erased some more.

              Screamed.

              Drew some.

Said fuckit, tried to go to bed, failed, and now I'm awake.

              Gonna draw some more.

Sleepless night, working as hell where everyone mocks me for a shitty pay-check, waiting to 7 PM (GMT+3) to get the fuck out of here with my bike and take the chances to die in traffic...

But could be worse, could be already tomorrow which will be the same...

current daily situation - Struggling with boredom at work, still with 7.25hrs to go.

This is what happens when I burn out most of my monthly bandwidth allowance in the first week of my new monthly allotment, I end up unable to stream and watch shows and stuff to make these 12 hours travel with a little more pace.

I still have 16 days to go before my monthly 15gig download limit resets so it pretty much puts a halt on most of the interesting things I can do online.

As such I'm doing a little light browsing in order to figure out where me and my buddy will be going for this years no-frills-cheap-as-chips camping holiday destination.

By the looks of it we will likely be camping out in Rivendale, a lovely looking site in the Peak District national park here in the U.K, which is handy as it's not too far away from my home town but at the same time is entire worlds away from the depressing stagnation that my working class home town has devolved into, I can tell that it is almost a year since I last got away from this shit hole and took my last camping trip up to Whitby, all of my bones ache at the thought of turning my back on the misery of the daily grind.

Still it looks like I won't be getting away until around June so for now I just have to look at the photos of the place and imagine that I am there, rather than trapped at work without the bandwidth to properly help the time pass.
Until I can somehow magically discover, hitherto unknown, skills to make a nice looking sig pic to represent my main chrs -

I primarily play Ignus Pyre and Smithy

Hacking up funky orange goo. Played a little. Sanded some walls while switching between two pairs of goggles because they keep fogging.

Hungry, but no appetite, and because of a plugged nose, what little I do eat tastes like nothing. Singlehandedly depleting the family's supply of tea.

In other words, going as usual.
But please, keep one thing in mind for me. What have you become when even nightmares fear you?

Rejigged the audio room this morning so I could sound all smooth and sexy at a microphone. Recorded a joke piece for some old friends and something for work.

Toyed with the idea of doing a little voice intro type thing for Sundren, but whether I'd have time to actually write something let alone do any kind of visuals to go with it is another matter. Still, voice work would be nice and I could do with some demo pieces, so I won't discount it yet. (Imagine a world...) Might have to try and get others to help me write something or do art for it.

Then off to work, France, back, Spain, back. Lots of people not doing much. Try not to think about the toxic air or cosmic radiation (it is sadly over sold in the super powers stakes, unless you consider broken cells a super power). Amused a school party, chatted with some great colleagues.

Got home 20 mins ago, found two new books delivered. Concocted ludicrous and ambitious plan.

Once again felt bad that I'd wasted actual money on The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug. Should send Peter Jackson a bill for the time wasted watching it and a bill for the psychological damage that watching such in important part of my childhood brutalised in such a demeaning and pathetic manner will have no doubt caused. Settled on sending a letter to Warner Brothers suggesting they employ a decent editor with a backbone and a large stick to follow Mr Jackson around. Given up on the last of the trilogy, I assume the 45 minutes worth of plot will be padded out to two hours with crap asides, Tom and Jerry slapstick and pointless filler shots. The rest of its four hour run time will be dedicated to multiple winsome, soft focused, sepia tinted goodbyes and endings all done with a homoerotic whistfulness not seen since the Waltons / Will and Grace crossover.

Need to sleep, up in a few hours for jaunt to Rome. 3 days with the fiance. more wedding planning and expense to follow.

Just to prove that I am probably the type of American that all the foreigners hate, discovering that "Data plans" were a thing was downright shocking to me. Mind you, the husband is Australian and I'm pretty sure that his attitude of the states is that we're a bunch of non-vegemite eating freaks living in a corrupt shithole of a country where you can't afford to be born, get sick, or die- but we have unlimited internet, so he'll likely stay.

He is 100% safe from drop bears here, and our most poisonous animals are petting zoo material where he's from.

Hell no. Judging from the smell alone, I can only assume that must be what licking goat ass must taste like.

(By the way, the husband is also from Perth- thought I'd mention that since I notice that's where you're from)
