Yeah I watch Grimm too, not as great as The Walking Dead or Boardwalk Empire (non-sci badassery)... But good.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

I also watch Grimm and Once upon a time. Once upon a time can get pretty bad, but for some reason I still want to watch it.. Also, I have to say I am a huge fan of Post-Apocalyptic shows such as: Walking dead, Revolution and Jericho. Jericho only has 2 seasons, BUT it just so happens they were canceled after the first season, and due to fan outrage came back for a second season to tie things up.

And I know it isn't Sci-fi, but I must put up Sherlock((BBC)). Each episode is an hour and a half of awesome.

Thanks again for all the feedback. I will look into Once upon a time/Grimm once I've finished with Battlestar. Also, I love post-apocalyptic stuff so will probably get into those too eventually.

The ending to Stargate universe left a lot to be desired, but can't really blame them, they were only given 1 season's notice to wrap up a million year intergalactic journey.

As for Battlestar, I'm watching what I think is the pilot/first series for the show right now. Its split into four 10-12 min segments? Its got Adama in it as a young rookie pilot.

That's the pilot, yeah. The really good stuff is the actual series - Four seasons, about twenty episodes a piece, at 45-60 minutes. Oh, and a movie that takes place between seasons 3 and 4. I think.

Do you need to watch the two-part miniseries before you start watching Season 1? Because I can't find it anywhere on the internetz.

I read that it is supposed to be the prelude to Season 1.

it should be called battlestar galactica (2003 mini series).

                Hi,

wow Walking Dead, me after watching the season 1 DVD version in one week, I've decided to:
                • buy a gun, sadly no automatic rifles are allowed around here, but handy shotgun is OK
                • find some nice place to storage some usefull things
                • I was in an army, so - renew my skill (I was always over-optimistic here, but hey, they made me a sergeant) and join the reservists (which after leaving the army I swore will never happen) to gain an easy acces to some guns and ammo in the case of emergency
                • find a way to fake my death in the case of emergency (after getting acces to some weapons and ammo)
                • find which castle closest to my area has all the nice medieval features untouched
                • and few other things I have to work out

I have decided after my death to let my relatives burn my body (I don't want to walk about later, when the fallout hits the ground and the rain brings it to my bones). I am not saying, that the catastrophy pictured in Walking Dead may happen. I know, it will.

Battlestar Galactica is one of my most favourite shows, if you're looking at post apocalyptic drama set in the spaceship. Caprica series - that was a serious religious crap. Now I am trying catch those Blood and Chrome webizodes posted on Youtube, sadly there will be mo movie or any series made of it.

                Cheers.

Yeah, it's a prelude, but it's something you can skip without missing out.

I posted a link to the torrent already. And you would be missing out if you skipped it. In my opinion.

from my point of view, you can pick it up with out the first mini series. but you will have little to know idea whats happening for the few episodes with out. + i thought it was great and well worth the watch.

Just finished watching the pilot. OMG so awesome, a realistic scifi for once! There is no miraculous against the odds survival, no risking the entire ship to rescue a single crew-member.

I love how the commander/president are continually forced to make tough decisions, letting some die so that the rest can escape....basically like a real war. Even just the guy who's forced to give up his seat so one extra civilian can escape Caprica.

                      Great so far.

the show could have taken place on the ocean in an aircraft carrier. but once you get into it, you wont be able to stop watching. just make sure you dont read any spoiliers. there a couple of movies that have been released with it. what ever you do, DO NOT WATCH "THE PLAN"!! until you finished the entire series. and you can watch Razor anywhere in during the Thrid season.

enjoy, i just wish i could see it all again for the first time.

I tried to watch it, but alas. It was not to be.

                          I should probably try again.

I love how Gaius is more evil than most of the Cylons. Not to mention a preeminently skilled liar.

And watching him try to remain calm and keep having a conversation whilst literally being mind-raped is just gold.

whats more impressive is that bsg has seemed to cut into your gaming.

Nothing like a sleazy underachiever controlling the most powerful ship in the known universes who's traveling around with a woman genetically reprogramed to be a sex slave, a robots head who adores said woman, and an ancient dead assassin from an ancient dead race. Oh yeah, and the ship is alive.
