If you loved Firefly and you can stand a little Japanese animation, Cowboy Beebop is a masterpiece in space opera's.
Also, Moon was the shit!
Characters: Peridan Twilight, one-eyed dog of the Legion, deceased. Daniel Nobody, adventurer and part time problem solver.

Heheh, ok this is a lot more feedback than expected. Its seems every player on Sundren is a shameless scifi junkie
Thanks a lot guys! I've seen Firefly, but there have been a few mentioned here it seems I need to check out, with Battlestar seemingly top of the list. (I think the episode I happened to watch was a really slow one, and since I jumped in half way i had noooo idea of the plot and that put me off)

Yes, I realise my RP writing sucks. Just be thankful I keep it short
The only real Star Trek is the original. Later versions might have had better special effects, better sets, and much longer series runs. But the first shows and actors were still the best.
Oh and Battlestar Galactica was great too, the series 3 or 4 years ago.
Does anyone remember a TV show called Space 1999?
Star Trek TOS? next gen? Deep Space Nine? Voyager? or Enterprise? whats the favorite?
DS9 was my favorite of the star treks. It was the only one that centered around a space station instead of a star ship zooming around the galaxy. In my mind, it made it more of a continuous story instead of a series of episodic adventures. That continuity allowed it to give more depth to each of the alien species involved in the story. I actually just recently finished rewatching the series in its entirety on Netflix.
Account Name: LuvHandles Maneae StrongArm - Devilish Warrior Woman (Active: Finding her place after time in reflection) Minael Cel'Anon - Elven Smith, Knight and Wizard (Inactive: seeking clues to lost elven artifacts) Aria Duvaine - Wouldn't you like to know . . . (Inactive: Whereabouts unknown) Ra'd Malik - Mulhorandi Warrior (Inactive: Off on a mission for the BH) Khyron Brinsbane - Fury of Auril (Inactive: Working with Cwn Annwn) Chazre Kenner - All around good guy with a penchant for revelry and chasing the ladies. (Deleted: Team Good, returned to Cormyr)
The cleanness of the Star Treks always put me off of them. It was just far to hard to take anything but TOS seriously with all that tight clothing. Does the future not need pockets?
It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do a little - Do what you can. Sydney Smith.
I grew up with next generation, and appreciate the original star trek for being campy fun.
Deep Space Nine and Voyager both seemed like they were trying to be next generation and failing -- but I never really watched either of them that much so could be wrong.
The only episode of Enterprise I ever saw had some sexed up vulcan lady running around the ship trying to get it on with everyone. Based on sample evidence it's the clear winner.
