oh men! i have been trying to get myself a copy but it got out of stock so fast and i tried placing an order at these store near our place but they said that it would take a while before the next batch comes in because they were having some issues with the distribution. i do hope i could get a copy of my own, have been dying to get one snce it came out!

So sad, yet so true. Only thing keeping me going is the item hunt, and sadly, I farm the AH more than I actually farm in game.

I still think the best Diablo was the first one. It was very atmospheric, and felt engaging enough that I was motivated enough to delve into its replayability value.

Diablo II had its strong points and improvement, but it wasn't the same. It never recaptured the magic I found in Diablo I - that cautious fear when inching forward and rounding corners and that eagerness to discover what was around that next corner even if it was a revisit.

Diablo III didn't do any better than Diablo II. Also, I was disappointed with how the Sisters of the Sightless Eye just ceased to matter. I liked them.

The agony of getting cornered by the Butcher in D1. Getting killed by him and all your gear falls to the floor. Then digging up some gold to buy cheap gear and running through the dungeon while trying to grab up your gear as you pass by with the Butcher chopping you in the back. Anyone remember that?

Still playing D3 myself as it's strangely one of the few things I can do with my crippled computer. NWN2 chokes. I suspect a harddrive issue. D3's on a different drive.

Diablo 1 was so dark, and it had an epic dungeon crawl system to it. Death was terrifying, and items reduced to 0 durability were broken. Nothing also beats that Epic moment of an old school 4 Man Iron man group actually making it to Diablo and beating him. (Its where you are only allowed a total of 3 trips to town once per new chapter when you uncover the shortcuts from the dungeon ... also trips to complete quests are allowed but buying items is not during quest trips)
