I think half the Sundren staff (myself included) is playing this.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
Call me cheap, but I'll still waiting for the GOTY edition Skyrim and SC2 battlechest before getting either. Any chance of me getting D3 before the expansion is almost minimal. X-D

It'll still be waiting when you get round to it im sure. People still play Starcraft 1 I hear.
Interested to know if Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning is any good; anyone played it?

PLayed and beat KoA, It's a very good game, but I don't really see any replay value in it. You pretty much get everything out of it the first run through. But, it was a very excellent run through.
Having much more fun learning how to arm/disarm Airbus doors, learning what to do if you loose a door/window at 30,000ft or so and watching seemingly endless amounts of terrible footage of plane crashes and problems (the aviation industry learns from disasters, so what was once normal may not be now)
Even managed to find a place to do my water landing lessons, so my dream of flying the Canadair waterbombers comes one step closer!
That aside, is it worth paying 30 knicker for Diablo 3? I'm sure I'll be back at a games computer soonish.
It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do a little - Do what you can. Sydney Smith.
Kingdoms of amalur has fun combat and an interesting story premise, but the presentation of said story was a bit lackluster. A lot of tell and not enough show.
Certainly not worth the £44.99 retail price imo. Especially since there are quite a few game breaking bugs. Gameplay wise its more of the same, perhaps dumbed down a little from D2; There are no longer character builds, just runes which you can change at any time like WoW's respeccing tool.
I regret buying it now when I could have bought Max Payne 3 and waited till D3 hit the bargain bucket.

It's a blast. Love the 6-skill load out, enjoyed the story (even though we called most of the major plot points 10 minutes into Act 1).
Shortly into Act 2 on normal, our group was killing most bosses sub-60 seconds, all the way up to Diablo (Damage debuffs and single-target deathrays will do that). Nightmare scaled up well; we've had to start being intelligent about how we engage certain mobs. Looking forward to the progression and the inevitable expanion(s).
Demon Hunter is a lot of fun, probably do a Barbarian next.
