If I win, I'mma hire Cornuto to set up my trust and go pick up my winnings, because I sure as heck don't want to be in the public eye!

Also, since I know HM is reading... I am going to adopt FIFTY CATS!

Edit: and keep them at this fenced-in Nyssis house.

A nice house on the coast, a sailing yacht (plus a laser dinghy for the funs) and a couple of horses.

Then I'd enrole in a couple of good courses and start up a games company and try to bag a license for setting an rpg game in China Mieville's Bas Lag (perdido st station, the scar, etc).

I'd pay off my wife's college debt first and sink a bunch into retirement savings. Then I'd buy Baltimore Ravens season tickets for the next five years. Then a couple of sea kayaks for the bay. Then finally, take some very nice trips to exotic places I've always wanted to go but could never afford... like a Discoverer channel cruise to the North Pole or something.

If there was anything left over, I'd buy Blurry some tongue cleaner. And R3 some mojito-flavored boots.

Sweet I think the server needs more beer.

I would bribe Saulus, (he can name his price) so that my characters always win and get all the chicks. Perm Dain.

I wish I could remember who it was that characterized playing government lotteries (see Saulus' comment) as a voluntary tax on stupidity. It's too good a line not to share.

However ... if I did play and win, I like several things suggested already, especially more beer for the server (and cash wouldn't go amiss either), but something not mentioned yet - I'd become a big fan of Butterfield and Robinson. Google them to see what I mean. Now that's traveling! Oh, and time on the Canadian West Coast, mostly Vancouver Island, doing carving.

I'd take private piano tutoring. Probably do Taekwondo all the time (within reason) and play on Sundren alot more of course. Small house in the country sounds nice; lots of forestland nearby to walk in... perhaps north wales or the lake district, maybe even...Abroad? (duh duh duh!)
With £462m Id also pay off all your mortgages, cause whats a few mill to a god eh?

My brother and I would buy a 72 or V74 Motoryacht, mount a high-pressure tennis ball cannon on the back and shoot people on the lake dock with it while playing the old "American Gladiators" TV theme on a couple of concert subwoofer speakers.

That would of course be AFTER buying my parents, grandparents, and other relatives I liked their dream houses. Then I would take a trip or two to see some particular long-distance friends.

And of course fireworks... tons and TONS of fireworks.

Thinking about it a bit more... I'd love to develop a modular rpg system based on Pathfinder, WHFRP or Bas Lag, oriented toward the modding community and persistent worlds in particular.

The game itself would need to be free, but with a revenue model based on hats.

I would need to win the lottery to afford to play Doubt's RPG.
I don't know what sort of cost it will be per hat, but I'll be getting a lot of them.

The drawing was last night, and three winning tickets were sold. Three people get to split $640 million, which is still a rather nice haul. Sadly, I was not one of those three people.

If I had won, I would have taken my millions in 100's, built an underground lair, and taken over the world... Or started the International Bank of Evil.. Perhaps both simultaneously...
