You might be waiting a long time. The Dark Brotherhood doesn't have the same 'kill innocent person' prerequisite to join as it did in Oblivion.

I managed to get to level 50 before making another character, myself. It's ridiculous how easy the game becomes with maxed enchanting and smithing: alchemy in Vvardenfell v2.0. Here I am, herp derping into any encounter, screaming at my double enchanted weapons so they attack faster. Dragon Priest side quest? Trollolol. Fighting people with silver weapons as a werewolf? Trollolol. Groups of giants? Trollolol. Forsworn with max archery decided to take out his bow and kill me in one hit? What.

Forsworn > Alduin. ಠ_ಠ

Very true. Just downed my 38'th dragon and then I get oneshotted by a Forsworn - Lol

My proper net connection died a few days ago and is set to be out of action till Christmas, perfect for getting on with a single player game..

You should be able to play it in offline mode. Does that not work?

Tried that. Hitting the offline mode button just makes Steam whinge about not being able to connect to its servers.

Yes that's the unfortunate bit of offline mode, it does WORK, but you need to be ONLINE when you initially put it OFFLINE.

It's damned frustrating!
Still, on the positive side a lack of steam/ interwebbery means no games, so I'll have to learn to put my current excesses of frustration, grief and general annoyance to a more constructive use. After all, PhotoShop and zbrush don't need net access.

You could always come up for some new and ingenious ways to snare us players. Or perhaps weave a yarn of heroic proportions?
