Hey peeps i just thought id start this post to ask what People do for a living in the real world.

My self im a Chef student because i simply LOVE to cook and make fancy dishes that look smell and taste AWESOME!

Anyway this posts just a thought you dont have to post if you dont wanna

With me I am somewhat all over the place. I was working out west (Alberta) when I first joined Sundren, but currently I'm one of the unemployed statistics you hear or read about.... which probably explains the ridiculous amount of time I've spent online here over the last year.

Occupationally though as far as schooling, I am what you would consider an Artist. So until I come across a rich person with a rock fetish (Carve lots of Sandstone now) I'll probably do what I've done which was subsist on other jobs over the years of various types, making my resume look like I've put my skill points into 1 rank in every skill in the character sheet. If you can think it, I may have done it.... well mostly anyways.

As of now I should be training for a *cough* call centre job come Monday doing technical support for your friendly neighbourhood iproducts. Pay is shit, but when the EI runs out at the end of the month, it's better than nothing.

While I have done just about everything from grain truck driver to Army demolitions instructor (among the 5 MOSs I hold), my main work for the last 15 years has been in traffic signals. I am currently the supervisor for traffic engineering for the city of Lawrence, KS. We take care of all the traffic signals, signs, and pavement markings for the city.

Unfortunatly the jobs market is in ruins for folk like me, so I'm pootling around at a company who specialises in landscaping and playgrounds.

Currently in the process of building myself a rather sexeh new studio with the aim of becoming a freelance designer/artist/idiot for part of the week, and lurking in an office working on play stuff for the rest of it!
