As of now, I am in the field of Corrections, on the Custody side, but I'm soon to move to the Programs side, where I get to "kiss inmate ass instead of kick it" as my Lieutenant often jokes about. My rank is Sergeant, along with my pay-grade, but I have the responsibilities of an officer (and I'm the envy of all my peers).

Before that, in the field of "unskilled" labor, I've been a grocery bagger, a fast-food cook, a waiter, a bartender, a "knocker" (although I came after the use of the bolt-gun, so I never actually knocked) at a pork and a beef slaughterhouse, and a tech support specialist for Time Warner Cable's Road-Runner service.

I am still qualified as a journeyman upholsterer, a swine farm technician (breeding and gestational specialist), and an apprentice-level butcher.

In the past 13 years, I guess you can say that I've been occupationally promiscuous...but I think I've finally found the one. 5 years NC DOC and holding.

And I'm afraid that, like Seheren, I also have no creative aspirations.

      Network Engineer.

In short, if it has to do with a server (hardware, software) I probably know something about it. I maintain business networks, troubleshoot servers, do deployments, project planning and network security.

I work with nearly every OS known to man (Windows, Linux, Unix).

Currently I'm focusing on specializing in security so I can do audits for large companies.

My only real creative aspiration that I've ever followed through on has been Sundren. Everything else I get bored of fairly quickly and move on.

I work roughly 12 hours a week at my little local toy store. We specialize in Legos though. I can actually say that I really enjoy going into work! It sure does beat flipping burgers. When people ask where I work I always tell them "I play with Legos!"

Myself, I'm a sales punk for a computer retail superstore. It doesn't pay too well but it feeds my addiction

                      Well let's see...

I'm a high-school drop out currently getting his GED. For those of you who live in Canada, or Britain, a GED is what we call a 'good enough degree'... Or technically speaking it's a general educational development class. I don't get paid for it, though. Wrong thread?

Every time I mention that to someone in Canada they give me a '?'.

I'm currently a drop out aswel could no longer afford school after I lost my job. Though I have high hopes for the future. (Is no longer living out of his car.) As I have stable employment as a cook at a bar and awhole lot o' debt. Maybe when I turn 25 I can go back to school when the damn government decides to not make me list my parents as a source of income and helps me cover tuition.

Graphic designer, advertising stuff, illustration, layouts... you know, this kind of stuff.

It's not what I wanted to be, but it's something I know how to do it and earn a bit of cash.

Being one of two employees at an asylum camp responsible for making sure everything runs gives me a lot of titles... And even more to do.

In terms of education, though: Cabinet-maker, chauffeur, social worker.
