so i am told we cannot modify armor appearance on this server, i tried one server before this and did not find it my taste but you could modify armor, that for me is huge...any plans to enable this in the future? i really like to be able to look how i want.

Word's that an appearance changer of sorts is in the pipes. Depending on your lung capacity, it may be worth holding your breath for.

Yeah, there's been talk of adding an appearance changer perhaps in the near future, but there's been no guarantee of one yet.

I don't think a poll is needed for the appearance changer, that will appear whenever it gets done. However, i you are looking for some custom appearance suits, Armor, or weapons; please hit me up ingame or via pm and I'll see about demonstrating the variation of our crafting engine.

I'm just seeking something that i can...

1. look like a true druid
2. have some kind of weapon that can be made to look like a 1 handed spear, or some kind of variation of that so i can use a small shield/buckler with it.

Being able to customise was huge with me too. It took me almost a month to get "Vestments" for my PC so that she looked like the impoverished healer that I wanted, but it "can" be done "mostly" with the current craft system if you can find the people willing to help. Granted, there are a lot of limitations in styles. For example, I couldn't get linen wrappings for the "boots" and the hoods are limited. But all in all you should be able to get close to what you're after if not dead on with crafting. Fortunatly there's tons of good people on here who are willing to help a new guy out. James Frazier was nice enough to craft Abby's vestments in a half IC, half OOC fashion just to be helpful. We RPed id always been wearing them, but he was fixing a big tear.

But like others have said about an apperance changer, it really does sound like the staff is going in that direction and im very glad for that. In the end, we're all playing barbie anyway and like to dress up our characters how we like.

So some other things, this server is hugley player driven and I can vouce for that. I haven't been here terribly long and my PC has been able to affect things by persuing her character goals, so that is a huge plus in the arena of reasons to stick with Sundren. I nearly quit the server over not being able to customise early on, but after seeing the ability that "any" player willing to invest the time and dedication to shape events has, I was hooked.

I hope you'll have the same experiance as I did and choose to stay.

So far i have had a good experience, better than any NWN1 startup. we shall see how to rp goes, right now i feel like im on a campaign for single player but im sure that will end.

Hmm, well, wooden armor I can do... one handed spear though? ... monkey gripped spear would be easier, I don't think we've got any alternate weapon type appearances available player side.
