Ah, now builds like that DO get deleted, or rebuilt, same goes for 19 druid/ 1monk.

Build for character, not for numbers (though if you can do both without getting cheesy, then great!)

Edit: ALso, there is no pure 'Way of the Rogue' just as their is no pure 'Way of the Paladin' Both classes have a LOT of wiggle room in terms of attitude, play style and character. It's not all cardboard cutouts and cheery cockneys!

By the way Dragor, from historical point of vue the Knights started from the Templiers - Holy Warriors, defenders of the church and the King. You could check more info if you wish by yourself because there is a lot of information. The main thing is that every single knight from those times used Heavy Armor even for his battle horse. Did i pass the challenge ?

I am accepting the opposite...having paladin as a base class was one of the worst ideas ever...

I am accepting the attitude of a paladin for the rogue

Scenario: An orphan street theif is taken off the streets by an older Paladin and raised in the tenants of said Paladins faith...that street thief reforms and trains to become a Paladin but that doesn't mean he forgets his roots and what he learned as a street theif, he still has the rogue skill set but his morals have changed.

What are the rules for multiclassing then ?

No cheesy, crazy, overpowered class combos such as 18sorc/2paladin or 19druid/1 monk.

However, classes such as Eldritch Knights and Arcane Sorcerer of Candlekeep are pretty swell and able to knowingly exploit/cheat/abuse the Practiced Spellcaster feat without any recourse.

I would also recommend Favored Soul/Cleric with any of the following PrCs: Stormlord, Dreadmaster of Bane, Master of Shrouds and if you're feeling really special maybe even Mystic Theurge.

A wizard with the new and updated palemaster is also nice.

But it looks like you're into the paladin class from what I can tell from your posts, I'd recommend going full pally, or maybe even paladin/divine champion/triadic knight.

Sorry no, this is historical lore, and unfortunatly incorrect. Look into FR and DnD lore for FR and DnD related things.

                HISTORY LESSON YAY!

The Poor Fellow-Soldiers of Christ and of the Temple of Solomon were formed in the first two decades of the 1100's after the capture of Jerusalem

Knighthood in Europe goes back to the Frankish Empire 3-400 years earlier

Also in the case of Armor, the full on Plate Mail normally attributed to knights wasn't even invented until the 1300's before that and even into that period the Armor of choice was Chainmail and Lamellar

Right, so you can take Wangxiuming's advice and just party up (feel free to lob me a tell if you see me online, and I'll relog with my low level and we can go pwn some goblin ass), or you can abuse the newbie rest rule and spam sleep and coup de grace lol

I'm not sure you can get lev 2 spells at your level, but if you can, ghostly visage makes you pretty much goblin-proof

If you don't have sleep as a spell, Rodwick used to sell a wand of sleep for 1000 stags, his store is broken now but I assume all his wares have been temporarily transferred somewhere else. If not, find me in-game and I *should* be able to craft one for you (not sure how much that would cost though).
