I just loaded MOTB and created a Stormlord, so I am interested to see what he can do. Anyone play a Stormlord yet?

It really blows being a spirit shaman as Okku is awesome to have in your group, but hes a spirit. Anytime you use chastise spirit or weaken spriit, you effect him, which hurts. Atleast, the gameplay im on affects him. As for spell voices and faces, males are fine, females are messed over. And mulitiple endings.. Hmm, once im done with my ending, i'll just read spoilers for the other two, or use a cheat. Not bothering restarting three times.

First I would say that the OC is great!
For the new features, well... the arcane scholar is as sick as the new wizard spells (avasculate, curse of impending blades, scorching ray, shadow simulacrum...).
The only thing that disappoints me is the lack of non-epic content (except for the spells).
Seems that we can't have everything...

Spoiler: I didn't use Okku that much because I already had like 3 elementals and my animal companion to use as tanks, Gann was much more usefull to me. But you can turn Okku into a super tank by giving him rings and necklaces and buffing the hell out of him. In the end didn't get the optimal ending because I was missing a mask piece from a kid so I'm going for a second try.

Has anyone else noticed a lot more crashes since they installed MotB? I seem to be crashing whenever I try to go through a door during the transition from one area to the next.

I am enjoying the game quite well, only complaint is my character took for ever to find a weapon he was skilled to use in lol and my first character i went back to basics to try to get as many feats as i could and he was straight warrior. But, not good with MOTB you get pawend alot!

Why not ditch the useless cleric instead and take the spirit shaman? The cleric is by far the WORST help i can ever get. I just find her utterly useless.

Heh, sorry for the double post but...

Woohoo! just finished the game. WITHOUT CHEATING. Wow, thats a first in a rpg O_O. my fight with the last boss took an HOUR. That was horrible. then of course, i cheated to see the other endings >_>. Mmm, i take back my comment about HotU being better. This really gets good at the end.

Better than HotU is high praise in my book.

I just love the new camera system. I put it on free cam with marquee select.
Playing with this setup on a D&D game with good writing...
...It's almost like Baldur's Gate all over again. *sniffle*

The cleric is the most usefull, all those ressurects c'mon are you kidding?

I tried to play the Campaign, but I got confused by my own spellbook (sooo much stuff at lvl18) and had to stop .

They rez after they die.... and Oku is great. 700 hp near end game, around 150 dmg per round..

Heh. My elementals died quickly, i didnt find anyone really useful other then Okku and my main char. Elementals quickly die near the end, and i'm not sure about animal companions. And the cleric died way too quickly for her to rez anyone. Gann was sorta useful, atleast he had harm and heal, and two spirit shamans with harm and heal was sorta useful for killing. The wizard was useful seeing as she had epic spells. And having two balors at your side is pretty fun ^_^.
