I voted for (other) as I do not see the point of any of these templates in a DnD setting. Like vampires, and werewolves... I hate them with a passion! If just hate the idea of people are running around as either of the two.

Demi lich is not a lesser version.
I stronly dislike folks rping undead due to no fear of death etc. And either ends in ignoring their rp, or seeking perma due to nothing phases them.
would these all be RP of month rewards only so we only get like 1-2 lycanthrops instead of 30-50.
I would enjoy rping a beholder, or illithad (could also settle for a beholder familair I miss them 
)

Don't worry folks, these templates won't be doled out lightly. They'll be earned, and we'll ensure that the people that get them are top notch RPers. Folks that put in character requests to become a vampire will likely not receive it

Personally I'd be for something else other than the listed options but I don't think it would be workable on Sundren...... So I'll spare every one the details. That being said I think Lycanthropy would work the best from a "fun" stand point. I see the RP for a Lich or Vampire potentially becoming frustrating for the player(s).

I was looking around online for templates, and I came on a few cool ones that aren't too crazy for a low magic setting.
Half-Golems: Basically, having one or more limbs replaced with whatever material the golem was made with, such as iron, stone, etc.
Saints, Fire Souled, Sanctified: Particularly chosen of their diety, or somesuch nonsense
And my personal favorite, while not a template persay, Baelnorn. Like a lich, only for elves and they are generally good.Characters:
Peridan Twilight, one-eyed dog of the Legion, deceased.
Daniel Nobody, adventurer and part time problem solver.
[DM] Poltergeist : If you can dodge a wrench, you can dodge an intermediate deity's unbridled fury.Comment

Nah, Baelnorns protect elves and their tombs. They are completely different than liches, who use undeath to gain power. Baelnorn are chosen by the Seldarine to watch over a specific group of elves or artifacts.
Besides, they are way overpowered. I'd like to see one as an NPC maybe, but not a player.Characters:

Pixies were always amusing as PC's...once saw a Pixie monk in nwn1. HOW those do knockdown is beyond me?
OR goblin PC's have always made me laugh. Perhaps I could have a servant (a smelly, fearful, and inept one).
