  • What kind of "new" environments would you like to see the most?

With lots of interesting tilesets and terrain posibilities in NWN2 with only a few of those tapped into by Sundren, what kind of environments would you like to see?

Leave the lore rammifications out of the picture please.

I think a desert landscape would be a cool change form the rain and whatnot that runs rampant through the lands.

desert would be cool but is it really feasible considering Sundren's location?

It would be feasible if it were in the sky.

A sky desert would be VERY cool

Anything floating would be very cool, including some of those Haluraa skyships. Could make for some very interesting rp scenes.

I guess that qualifies as 'other' in the choices then lol.

More ice and snow, but in more variety, such as forests, meadows, settlements, mountains, etc.

Why would you vote for something that you recognize as not being feasible?

One might often say it is not feasible for it to be always night in an area that experiences normal sun cycles. However, that's what we have with Shar's Abbadon. Or is it just really, really cloudy there? Either way, it is unnatural.

Magic could come into play with the creation of a desert in a place like Sundren. I am certain it is more complicated than simply a matter of hocus-pocus-boom-desert, but that could be the reasoning behind it overall.

Personally I'd like to see sort of a little winter zone trade route that goes through an itty bitty village.

Actually Anauroch is desert that ends in the great glacier at its northern tip, but I'd imagine that in the northern reaches it'd be something like cold lifeless tundra.

I am big fan of deserts myself, but on the other hand I'd also like to see the marshy forest that Sundren used to have, being returned with perhaps some new areas attached to it.

So I'll be 50/50 desert/forest, besides there is already a freezing place in the server.

I voted for Forest, though I mean something entirely different from what we have at Viridale, for example. What I'd like to see is some forested area on the slopes of a mountain. With highly varied altitude, waterfalls, lots of foliage and fallen trees and the like, with perhaps a small bit of wintery landscape at the very border of the area, nearby the mountain tops.

There's a huge number of directions you could take such an area in. Spooky, magical forest, ruins/abandoned outposts.. You name it. With plenty of space for enemies that aren't normally found yet in Sundren, but that would definitely fit.

                          Seconded, the above sounds good.

                          EDIT: Also, underdark.

I voted desert. And remember, Saulus said to leave out lore ramifications. Personaly, I find desert areas interesting, and fun to play in.
