What is it you like best about Sundren?

    Positive commentary only, obviously.

The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

My vote goes to the community. No matter how well built everything is, in the end that is what makes a multiplayer RP PW fun.

Of course, the way things are built and run are what attracts people in the first place, so they aren't any less important.

My vote is for the backbone (scripts, areas). Nothing like it that I've seen anywhere else.

It's all great but when it comes right down to it you could have the best module ever created and it would be worthless without a decent community.

Like Yashia and Llew, I'd say it's a really tough call, but I think in the end, it's the community that makes all the difference. I think I could live without the detailed areas (maybe) and lore, but it's the staff and high-quality players that have kept me on Sundren for over a year now.

Not to say that the area design and lore aren't fantastic in themselves, they're just delicious icing on an even more delicious cake.

The community is the best part now. My favorite thing is the DM attention to quests though sadly I seldom find I am online at the right time for them these days.

Looks like the voting is pretty one-way now, but like everyone else has put it, quite well, it is the people of the server that make it the most fun, because no matter how detailed and smoothly-running everything is, it won't be fun if you're sharing it with assholes.

Thanks to everyone in Sundren, for making RPing a bigger part of my life.

Hano, Kathryn, Sol, Tamryn, Yashia, Sehron, Lauan, Jessica, Cirion, Vader, Elusa, Pom, Eira, Logan, Fenton and many others...

These people are the first things that come to my mind when I think about all that is good about Sundren. Interestingly enough, that is how it is with Os too.

Community is the obvious choice for me when it comes to this server.

However, it is only fair that I mention that only through everything ELSE being so well done could a community like this come together. So, kudos to the DMs and the Sundevs for making Sundren the kind of place that would attract so many talented storywriters.

The community I think its the people, I take that back its a combination of the community and the hard work of the developers that that make this server good.

I don't want to pick only one, really, but if pressed I'm going for community. The amazing work on the module itself (not just the area design but quests and scripting - I know what kind of work goes into such things) is right up there, though.

The only reason I'm picking community over design is that ultimately even the best built module is pointless without a good group of people populating it

As much as I love the community, it's the custom nature of Sundren I love most. It's what makes this server so unique and so easy to love. It also attracts the Community, and you can tell how good a place is by the quality of the people in it.
