  • What XP system method do you like best?

Keep in mind when you vote, some people are already level 10 (though few).

However, we want to know what XP system you as players think fits best?

Currently the curve is about 1250xp per 24 hours period.

I voted 50% Until level 5 and 10% after, as we shouldn't penalize the really low levels and not allow them to have any gains but by the same point that I already made in the alternate thread, it should take time and dedication to advance beyond, even for extraordinary adventurers.

I would like an option for it to say 50% untill level 5, then 10% to level 10, then 0 % from that point on.

I like the current system. It keeps people who don't have a lot of time to play from falling behind but discourages power-leveling. Hooray!

*sighs* missed that one... I'll vote for that one istead of 10% after lvl 5!

If I interpret the number right. Server generally wants it, on average, to be 50% up to level 6 or so and then 10% after that.

i voted 50% until 10, then 0%. So everyone can catch up to 10 then stop leveling, then maybe once most people are 10, you can raise the level up a bit. So we dont have people getting higher then others.

I voted 50% until level 10 and 10% after, but I think the level that it goes up to at 50% should be 8.

does it matter if some people are stronger? This isn't a race for the highest level, since level doesn't matter..
level 20 and no history/connection to the server
                        or
level 10 and ALOT of intrigues everywhere?

I'm stuck here trying to explain my reasons for voting 0%. There's a few and I think my dis-interest in XP and levels is my primary one. If I level as a part of roleplaying, that's nice, but it isn't my objective (which I've said before).

Of course, it's just one vote and my 2p.

I voted 50% till 10 then 0% After , I think this will be the best till the majority of the server can be around the power.

Once you get to higher lvls, lvling slows down anyway due to the DnD system and since by then people will be getting less xp from mobs at even 100% anyway, so I don't think there's a need to lower the gains based on level. There is a difference in getting 4xp at lvl 3 and getting 4xp at lvl 15.

I'd say keep it at either 50% or 10% for everyone that is rocketing ahead (I could go either way probably leaning towards 10-20%), and allow DMs to make judgment calls and award extra XP for good RPers and PCs that are significant figures in Sundren or accomplish rare feats, etc.
