You know without the rest of this thread that's a slightly disturbing statement...

But whoop whoop! Thanks as ever devs, awesomeness reigns again ^^

umm so folk can just walk into the temple of kelemvor and grab bodies?! with out credentials etc... seems weird guess all the necros know where to go to get their bodies...
perhaps you should have a checkin but not check out policy.. there should be a safe place for the dead after all.

A bit of common sense from the players is, as always, recommended here GBB.

People shouldn't ignore NPCs - IE: Shouldn't have mass fights in the middle of the city/Exigo/pubs/towns without a DM around to provide reaction from the guards.

People also shouldn't go stealing bodies from temples as if they're not being watched or as if all NPCs don't exist.

If someone knows their body was last in town A, then in the Kelemvor vaults, but has no found it is being carried around by a PC for who knows what reason then they can notify a DM who will look into the matter.
It is the greatest of all mistakes to do nothing because you can only do a little - Do what you can.

I can't see many people going through the process unless they are looking for a missing friend, and in that case I would see the Kelemvorites allowing such visitors in in order to give recognition to an otherwise unnamed corpse. As for taking the corpse out, the Kelemvorites being neutral would let someone out with one, mainly because if someone recognized a friend or relative amongst their john does, it would be respectful to have them taken and buried in a manner of the deceaseds faith. PC's aside, the Kelemvotites would be dealing with the above stated manner 90-95% of the time with unnamed victims of the common populace as well.

Now if the Dev's put in a function that would allow malevolent characters to reanimate the corpses of the dead PC's, and it became more common, I am sure they'd be much more picky on who the let in and out.

Apart from a Kelemvorite would nary raise the dead ~ they have too much respect for death I think...

"see if they are allowed to be brought back" Got to be given the ability to bring them back with kelemvors blessing , many people die before their time is up
Favorite quote : "Lets see..if they were children, Cirion would be pulling mara's pigtails , Os would be drawling on walls and Grom would be playing with matches."
