  • New crafting system?

Hello i am a recent addition to this server & i truly enjoy it, I doubt there is any server that can hold its own vs. Sundren for displaying the true aspect of what a D&D experience should be with the nwn2 engine. But anyways, enough brown nosing.
I came to this forum looking for some specifics on the new crafting system, i don't see any, and im afraid the points i allocated at level 2-3-4 are going to be at best misguided and at worse worthless. let me put it this way, there is no way for me to gauge wether or not i should put points into the new crafting system without knowledge of its workings. Considering you can only reserve access to 5 skill points at a time there is no way to truly develop your character according to previous knowledge,(there is no library to go study my characters profession, ie: the forums) my character would be learning blindly. I almost feel as if a relevel would be in order for a new allocation of the skill points. Are there any solution to this issue, or perhaps better yet, is there a database of information on the new crafting system?

    Crafting

This is a link to some specifics.

As to a when, have to wait on staff to release that.

It has been confirmed Alchemy will still be used to distill essences. Now what will use those essences? Have to wait and see.

    Hope this helps!

The new crafting system hasn't been implemented yet, but as the skill descriptions state you can take points in the skills ahead of time so that people can prepare their characters to use them rather than forcing everyone wanting to use it to make new characters once it goes live.

A summary sneak peek post can be found here: http://www.sundren.org/forum/showthread.php?t=10129
Do note that information in that thread is subject to change.

Recently I've been distracted with other things, so there hasn't been much progress. It's definitely not off the charts, though. And actually on top of my priority list at the moment. Just have a little patience
