Dumb question about gems

Beside the little "Go slughter the boss" quest that are out there, There any other ways to get Gems beside the ones that are floating around by players (IE: A really rare drop from random normal mobs. Daily quest, ect)

Speaking of daily quest, what happen the Banishe one that was in S.hill's? and are there any other ones?

Some of the cheaper gems such as Bloodstone and Obsidian have a chance of randomly dropping off anything. More expensive ones are currently only possible to obtain by quest bosses and DM events.

I think the hag was removed from Sharahan Hills due to it pestering unsuspecting low levels, and being an oddity lorewise. The frost giants should still exist as a daily boss.

Soon availability of gems will shift from boss drops to the Mining profession skill.
