This type of situation was in place far before HCR, just in a text based environment. No one here played faerunmud? I'm shocked

One thing I'd like to see.

Sliding scale skill progressions. In NWN2 and even PnP you are expected to have improved at skills like uh broadsword as you adventure. Well in an online game, players actually use those skills, I'd prefer to see them go up through use rather then levelling. I mean if I never even pull out a broadsword, but I have the broadsword weapon focus feat, and I hit sufficient level, I can learn specialization. So as you use the feat more, you become better at it. I'd prefer to see it be "Your skill with broadsword is 'master'." You are now able to become a specialist (skill based requirement, not level).

A tailor NPC that does direct DM Requests. (AKA, you talk to the tailor, subnmiot what you want here, they approve it, either you make it or they do, then it's delivered to you IC.).

More restrictive rest system - timer based; and

                  Worse penalties for death.

actually agree with most suggestions made in this thread.

Actually I'd go with those over new PrC's at the drop of a hat.

A tool thats kept in our inventory that we can target PC's with to change whether they are hostile and Friendly. So many times already ive not been able to react because i cant find the person in the Playerlist fast enough. For my spells to work the PC must be hostile.

Honestly, what I would love to see is village, town, and city specific items. There is one thing I have seen over and over again in all the servers. Once everyone goes and sees the new areas, if there is no in game reason to go back they won't.

Well the merchants are spread out carrying varying items throughout Sundren.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

How about honest role-players being rewarded for thier dedication? I'm tired of seeing server staff members rewarding thier buddies or folks who demand things, while true low-maintenance, high quality role-players get passed by.

Oof. This comment isn't directed toward the Sundren staff.
