The feat "Adaptability" - what is it? what is required for it? what it do? I could not find it in wiki

Another thing I was wondering was were do woman stand in society of the PW. what rights do they have.

Often we think with our current society accepted values and laws. Though in a pw its different and I was hoping to get those defined.

    Just be curious.

Adaptability is a Skill bonus-style feat. I think it gives +2 Survival and +2 Heal. It's the Sundren-replacement for Self-Sufficient, if I recall correctly. You can get it on any opportunity to take a new feat.

Sundren so far seems equalitarian in regards to the rights of men and women. that might just be our culture bleeding through, though. i admit I'd like to see soe elaboration over that as well.

Why do you think we added "profession cook," as a skill?

        HAH!!!

Well they are allowed weapons (would be boring as heck other wise). But

Can a women challenge a man to a duel?
Can they own land or property?

just a layout of social norms for woman in this time period would be kinda helpful.

So Yashia can smack Logan's backside with a frying pan, that's why!

But to seriously answer the question, I think that overall Sundren adopts an equal rights standpoint in their society. However, some specific organisations may have their own views on it. Especially in the more military groups, such as the Legion, I can imagine that while there are female officers it's still predominantly governed by men. The thing in a high fantasy world like the Forgotten Realms is that everyone knows that if you mess with someone who has power (be it political, skill at arms, or magical prowess), you might just meet an early end. It doesn't matter if that someone is man or woman.

Adaptability is the feat that replaced Sundren's 'survivor' feat. And it gives +2 survival and +1 to fortitude saves. (survival and heal is the forester feat). Most important reason for the name change is that in SoZ there was a background feat added that was also named survivor. This avoids confusion.

AH cool thanks for the answers.

So basically to be less confusing its like todays society though, our charactor if from a different realm might still stick to other ideals but the are not the society norm. Nor law.

That makes things alot more clear.

If I can beat folks with a frying pan I could seeing trying to be a Weaponmaster/cook with frying pan as the weapon of choice. j/k :P

Though I did happen upon something cool single player is that bottle that when broken becomes a dagger it looks cool. Not sure how easy to use with current haks etc but would be an intresting bar fight item.

We already have spoons to slap people with, and I think shovels and pans work too. Maybe we need a broom-model for the witches among us

What do you mean with the broken bottle thing? Wasn't that a club-item in SoZ or something?

                  Yup.

MoTB gave us a big bloody bone

SoZ gave us a cool broken bottle dagger thing. Which worked as club when a bottle until broken.
