Missing Expansion Pack?

Hey everyone. I tried connecting to the server and I got the message "Missing Expansion Pack" when I tried to connect. I have motb but I don't have that soz. Do I need to get soz to play on the server now? Can I get the content without buying the expansion pack?

Probably not, Eco. I recall when FireChicken broached the issue, saying that he couldn't play anymore with OC/MotB, that Saulus replied with:

Keeping up with the expansions is a small price to pay considering we provide something with no subscription service.

So... yeah. You need to get your hands on the expansion pack.

I found SoZ for $20 at Best Buy in my town. It's also available online for that price.

I've seen SoZ for $20, MotB for $20, and NWN2 + MotB bundled for $30 in stores. Anyone looking for the titles probably should not be paying any more than those prices while in the US, though I understand in other countries the prices can be absurdly high.
Amazon.com lists SoZ as $20 as well.

Considering how many hours most of us clock on this game and considering how new this expansion is. The current price is really very cheap.

You do have to have a little look around though. I have noted that ordering it online, you can find the best prices, although you do still have to have a good look around and compare offers.
