  • Again, Server Lag-to-Crash.

Here we are again, It is happening around the same time of day as Thursday night. Numerous people are lagging untill they crash or terminate the process. We are all scared to do any combating because of it.

Now on a note, perhaps it was non-existant at the time because this problem seems to occur during Sundren's Peak hours. Perhaps today there will be a chance to check the server's statistics at the same time as the problem is occuring. I don't mean to be bothersome but perhaps you can leave this thread open so we can discuss the issue and possibly find a solution, I am not saying it is the Server's fault, perhaps with some research we will find a solution on the NWN2 forums, it may be happening to more than Just nwn2.sundren.org.

Then go check the NWN2 forums as Saulus has already said. There is nothing he can do.

I can't quantify your problems into something that I can troubleshoot on my end. It's something within the internal workings of NWN2. Trust me, I've been researching trying to improve NWN2 performance for about 2 years now.

People who have invalid UI files may contribute to some troublesome clientside incompatibility. Also, maybe the hotfix issued for the current patch has something to do with it, have some patience and I'll likely update the server to the latest revision tonight.

In fact, I will do it in one hour of this posting just to see if this helps as a last resort on my end.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.
