I need Help!

Yesterday I was happily enjoying the world of Sundren, but as of Today I turned things on... and in the game listings I find the only world that I have taken to was completely Greyed out!!

In a panic, I had quickly ran the Sundren Updater, but to no avail.

After some thought, the only thing I did yesterday on my computer was run a windows update since the computer was acting wonky and I was missing a few critical updates... If that is the case, is there any way I can straighten out this mess? Get rid of the updates? Change the updates? Buy a new computer? Sacrafice a chicken to the dark gods?! ... ANYTHING to get back!!





*edit* I am also currently updating NWN2 itself and keeping my fingers crossed.

Yes. Thank god. The updater finally finished and I jumped back in. I noticed now that 95% of the other games in the RP list are now greyed out, but Sundren isn't!!! So all is well.

So I will now pull myself out of the corner, wipe off the sweat, have a coffee to get rid of the shakes, then breath a sigh of relief.

It's the same three disks I have always been using and I've never let anybody else use them. I bought them all legit with my money from various shops and online retailers.

Why now after re-installing the game 20,000,000 bloomin times does it suddenly say I am unauthorised?

Bioware bug, or banned. If it's not the second, and it's not the first, call Atari and let them track the copycat.

CD Keys are bound to your Account, far as I know it's not possible to log in with someone else's. You could try re-entering your account details, there's lots to try, but check Bioware forums.

Go into C:\ProgramFiles\Atari\NeverwinterNights2 and look for a little file that looks like a piece of paer with a cog on it that is called: nwncdkey

Open it with notepad and you'll find it will have Key1: dfadflkajsdflasdlfhas bladdy blaaady blaaa written there.

You need key2: asdfuhasjdfhaslfhaojlfnglafrg
Key3: askjgajwrhfjahfvjafjasfgvkjansfdyadayadayada written under there too.

Basically one or more of the keys may not be noted down.

Seems there just isn't any luck.

With the latest lag & Crash, I had thought it may be just me and while I was out of the Game, I decided to update both NWN2 and Sundren... (In that order))... Now that I've completed both updates, Sundren is now Grayed out on me again.

I updated again to no avail. I may run over to the NWN2 Forum to see if anyone else is having the same problem, but just in case if there are any tricks that can help I'm open to suggestions.

BH, you really need to read the forums before posting

There was a big patch last week by NWN2, which Sundren updated for. Then, mid-week, they released a minipatch, which Sundren is in the process of updating to.

So, if you patched after the minipatch, we can't help. Have to wait for Sundren devs to update to the latest minipatch version.

I did get that.

It is just that I was caught unawares due to things 'appearing' to work fine. Don't worry I was more or less coming to that conclusion, but wanted to make sure it was the global problem and not my computer personally, since it has also been lately showing some attitude.
