So Zim wants to learn more about the Veritas, so I read what was posted in Public Information.

So my question is--is everything listed in the Public Information forum just considered common knowledge? Because, for the Veritas, it says they're fighting for control of Sundren and don't realize that their leader lied. So...if that's REALLY public information, then that line can't be precisely true...since it is, of course, public information.

I just want to know what I can have IC knowledge of, assuming that I have purchased several ranks of Local Knowledge for my character.
"If there is no struggle, there is no progress. Those who profess to favor freedom, and yet depreciate agitation, are men who want crops without plowing up the ground. They want rain without thunder and lightning. They want the ocean without the awful roar of its many waters. This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle." -- Frederick Douglass

The forum contains OOC information. It isn't public knowledge IC. If everyone knew everything it would be a boring game

Gotcha. Well, that's why I asked.

This is why you put ranks in Knowledge: Local and History!

I DID put ranks in it...I think I have 3 or 4 ranks now, plus Zim's INT bonus (which is fairly high for a fighter).

But the reason I asked is because the forum is titled "Public" information...from that, I would assume that it was common knowledge.
