  • Character build / idea. Need help

I have recently thought of makeing a truely generic weakling commener type character and i'm trying to think of a way you can get the lowest possible AB and have very little to no utility at around level 10.

Intelligence 8-9 Wizard or Charisma 8-9 Sorcerer looks smack like what you are looking for. Make sure you make that familiar you get is a pig, so that you can brag about being a farmer's son with a pet piglet. =P

Commoners don't generally reach level 10

Having a completely pointless character also isn't going to be much fun in the long run.. Might be better to do something like a rogue/bard with high int, wis and cha scores to have something that excels in skills, but with 8-12 str, dex and con and only wearing normal clothing. Making it a pushover in combat.

Hmm i'm thinking of starting out as a cleric or favored soul...then going wizard and sorc to have a low AB with 0 spell casting capabilities.. while I just prestige into another spellcasting class so i'm not capable of casting spells and my AB stay's lower than 3.

Well I already have 2 rogueish / bard characters with 10's on physical stats but high Int and Cha with an average wisdom

That's somewhat like my Diviner char, which I have made for pure RP because she lacks the combat aptitude

That's how Anorith was builded and she is Sorcerer/Cleric

            10 STR
            10 DEX
            10 CON
            14 INT
            16 WIS
            16 CHA

In the long run as Kaeldorn says, you can't play a lot of places or go at your own without having invisibility potions and trust in the other players skill to maintain you alive.

Or you could make... a gnome! Sorcerer, like I said before.

                Str 6
                Dex 8
                Con 20
                Int 10
                Wis 17
                Cha 8

Constitution is your saving grace; you can hold your liquor and you're very hardy which gives you a chance both in regards to hit points and bleeding-to-death saves. You're passably smart like a commoner could be, but really wise in the way of a longer lived creature like a gnome, with the nose of a fox!

In combat? You're lame! You know how to use simple weapons like most commoners, but that's it! At level 10, your piglet familiar might be even tougher than you are!

                  con 16
                  int 12
                  chr 10

Or, you can take a Woodelf (or is it Wild? I don't play Elves!) to gain maximum stat penalties and boost the deducted stats, thus burning many points. Then take a class completely unassisted by said stats and take some dump feats that you'll never actually use.
