We killed the ogre chief and seconds later the server crashed.

That happens a lot with the ogre chief actually ;|

Anyhow, the server is not coming back up...

There is a tonne of us in Gamespy chat all terrified of having to log in alone at various times tomorrow, in the ogre caves.

Any help getting the server back up would warrant a donation I think.

Perhaps people should refrain from killing the ogre chief untill this problem is fixed, there are most likely multiple other players that would like to have uninterrupted play.

Personally I only really put 2 and 2 together right now after this crash.

For those involved, good fight, we should not have made it through alive. the odds were heavily against us but it was sheer tactical ability and determination seemed to have won the day. Shame the server had to cheat!

You should be ethereal for a period after logging in, so you can quickly run out of the cave and make it to safety. Can't say how long it lasts, but it should be enough to make it out of the dungeon at least...

I would like to see them running like the sewer rats in the maze, scared every time they turn the wrong way, watching the sanctuary icon in a fear when it disapears, yeeeee. Hehe.
