    nice!

Awesome work, sure is much prettier and easier to read then that online wiki. Now i can keep it on my computer and reference it quickly while ingame should the need arise. Good deal!

I liked the pdf sir but if i can, could you make it more fitting to the server look wise, maybe a canvas texture. and some clean hand writing fonts, they are a bit hard to find but www.blambot.com has some.
also since the staff and crew don't get much exposer. How about including bios of the people who work on sundren so that it's not as easy to bash them. Let the players and potential players see who is working hard to bring them the server.

also could you include a guideline for character creation, server rules that are clear and to the point and leave a page of contact information, like web address, emails and such for players old and new to get in contact.

        FINISH HIM!

        ^, >, >, V, X

Large red hand smashes opponent to chunky salsa

        Banality!

Since you asked for feeback, here is some from a player new to this server.

Overall, I really like what you have so far. I can see it, as it is, serving almost as an IC tool. Characters could find the book in game, and be told to download the pdf for viewing. It contains good information from the wiki in an easy to use form.

If this is meant as a player aid though, I too would like to see more information. Perhaps a second ooc pdf could be made, or it could be split into two clear sections, OOC and IC? If possible, all the rules, especially regarding character creation, allowed/dissallowed classes/feats/etc would be nice. A bit of information on the staff, and other such as mentioned above would also be nice. I prefer PDF downloads to webpages but I also know, as I have made and worked with both professionally for the last several years, that the PDF can be a lot more work to maintain, depending on the tools you are using.

So I would say great job so far, would like to see more when you have more time to work on it. A bit on demographics, organization, etc. You have information on the major landmarks, power figures and places, which is great. The map and history are awesome. But more on the organizations, churches/major religions, that kind of thing would be nice. Especially if that could seperated into IC and OOC knowledge so someone thinking of playing a character of a faction/religion/whatever would have the info needed to make an informed decision while the rest have what is "commonly known" and could be found if they spent their off-screen time talking with NPCs and hanging out in the tavern. That kind of OOC vs IC split for a lot of information would be very handy.

I know it takes a lot of work and you have a great start. I have seen PDF aids for other servers, and many are 50-200 pages in length. No small feat, and I do not mean to belittle your efforts here in any way. I would say that what you have done so far is great, I would just like to see more information provided. It is also nice to have the extra info so if someone asks me about the server, I can just email the pdf to them as I have for other servers I have played on.

Good job so far, looking forwared to more,

          Kuroboshi.
Common sense is not so common.
People hate what they fear, fear what they do not understand, and, unfortunately, understand so very little.

            Yay for long posts!

Well, first off, thank you for taking the time to go in-depth with your suggestions. I appreciate it.

Now, on the matter at hand:
I'm slowly making out the scrawling of lore we have scattered all over the forum, and compiling them into the wiki. The PDF will then follow suit. However, I do not think the PDF will ever reach 2-300 pages, as much of the background is already there, in form of the Forgotten Realms Campaign Setting (Which we, for copyright reasons, cannot reiterate).

Also, it is simple fact that Sundren, as a nation, is about 150 years old. There simply isn’t all that much detailed information to be had yet, as players will be shaping a lot of coming events.

In regards to the ooc question of the PDF, I feel that I need to keep it towards the IC side. But, with that said, some of the information contained in the .pdf will still be considered meta-gaming, if used inappropriately. For example, a dumb-as-a-brick half-orc is unlikely to know much about the trade routes of Sundren, while a merchant certainly would know.

Now, I might do a OOC .pdf, but really, I do not feel it is very much needed. Biographies of the staff? Sure, when I get the time to do it – However, for the time being, we’ll have to settle with getting to know people through the forum.

Of course we can! Forums and PWs all over the net include copied information like that, just mentioning the source. I never saw any ever get in trouble for it, not even get asked to take the info down

Well, speaking of the PDF, the format has changed a bit. I altered the background and the fonts to suit a fantasy setting better
