  • Questions about the Militia

    Hello; new guy here again.

The place looks very nice, people seem very interested in role-play, and I like it so far.

With that said, I just had a couple of questions for anyone who may answer. I'm interested in having my PC join the Sundren militia, but there doesn't seem to be a whole lot of information on it as an organization--you know, duties and responsibilities and stuff like that. I checked the Wiki and searched the word "militia" on the forums and that didn't turn up much. I didn't want a few easy quests so much as a career role-play dealio. So I was wondering:

    1. Is there any more information available on the militia for public consumption? I mean...is it a military force, or a police force; is it a slacker job or is it a respected organization? Is the list of military ranks in the Public Information forum still up-to-date (and are enlisted and officer ranks not segregated)?
    2. Is the series of quests given by the Watch captain the means of joining the faction, or is DM intervention necessary?
    3. Should I just shut up and continue what I am doing until notified otherwise?

    Thanks for reading.

This struggle may be a moral one; or it may be a physical one; or it may be both moral and physical; but it must be a struggle." -- Frederick Douglass

DM assistance required to join. Not forever though.

Good question, I have no idea!

Any got a clue about it? I personally am interested in Sundren magical talent (Invokii and Scholars arnt they?) and how you would become part of the ranks!

Eventually there will be a quest to join the faction. That's the plan, for now these things can only be facilitated by DMs, which do their best for this kind of thing already.

Ah, okay...I was operating under the assumption that the Militia and the Legion were separate entities. Thanks for the clarification.
