Roleplay wise I just can't see how you could pull off a druid swashbuckler unless you go for a Umberlean Pirate who is riddled with lore and understanding of the dark things deep below the nightmarish oceans of faerun.

And finally you'd have a PC that can use the swashbuckler voice set and sound in place. Har Haar haaar HAAARRR!!!

Explorers are more frequently rogues and rangers than they are druids though. Which are, if I might add, more logical choices to combine with swashbuckler to begin with. Druids have more of a tendency to stick around and tend to whatever natural environment they treasure most. A swashbuckler/cleric would make more sense, spouting out lines of praise and puns involving the awesomeness of his deity during his adventures. Hmm... idea?

Might have to buckle up my swash later on then..

See if I can alternate between uber ice-biatch of hate and mustachioed rambling sailor of fast quips and faster women..

handsome girls eh? Definately a sailor :P

one of my favorite builds for the SoZ game so far is a ranger/Swashbuckler. Though I do wonder why there was no NEON sign of Please please play an Arcane Archer. I think before level 12 had aquired a thousand arrows or more.

lol because my toon will still be looking for a place to call home. Hence why he worships Selune. As for the druid part, it is about the only thing, aside from his companion, that feels right with his life.

Shaundakul is the traveller one really. Selune watches over the road, Shaundakul is the traveller who helps.

I still think a crazy pirate is a better idea, but of course it is my idea so I would do.

Selune governs navigation, implying that you are traveling with a destination. While people worship Shaundakul for this too, Shaundakul travels for the sake of traveling. Additionally, Selune is a better candidate than Shaundakul for sea travel, which is how my toon will meet his animal companion.

Am I the only person who thinks that Swashy would suck as a multiclass? All their abilities progress very slowly, not reaching any true level of real power until the double digits and beyond. To my mind it appears to be more of a pure level class, but meh, you guys do what you like

Actually, Swashbuckler mutliclassing is all about the insightful strikes at level 3. Full int modifier damage bonus on both main- and offhand, which makes it insanely good to multiclass with dex-dependent rogues and rangers with tons of skillpoints. Plus it's the perfect class to combine with Wizard as an Eldritch Knight.

Merges perfectly with duelist, while not pertinent to Sundren, when you reach epic, doing 2x your INT is pretty cool.
