  • BAD Idea!

Ive just accidentaly said the wrong thing to the veritas, thats isnt good right!

Not only have I died recently but now the veritas have killed me, Is there anyway you could implement a soft nasty dialog option that doesnt involve obliteration so that people might avoid my fate?

*edit* There is no way out of here without dying, guess I best delete my char... he will be in minus levels before I get out of here!

My question would be, what level are you and how did you get to the Veritas if you are low level?

Be careful what you say to dangerous people.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

Im not really bothered because Im only level 4 (albeit with a holy 'King's Tear' in my inventory).

You can see the veritas at any level as far as Im aware, I picked it up at 3rd level I believe. But now everytime I spawn Im back with the hostile veritas.. Just sorry luck I suppose

I'm not following at all. How are you respawning into hostile territory? If you're respawning with the Veritas, shouldn't that mean you're one of them?

It means he probalby joined the Vertias then talked smack to the boss making him an enemy yet keeping his respawn point at vertias

logging in and out MIGHT fix it but his real problem is at level 4 if he leaves the vertias outpost and the traps consider him hostile....just plain done.

sucks he had a nice gem but atleast you were not like level 10 or something.

You need to get out of the area into a non-hostile area (like the Forest of Eternal Night - lol) then wait for a server reset. This should remove the angry reaction received when respawning as long as you are faction aligned with the Veritas.

If you're not then there is a serious problem with your faction settings.

Ah, see my confusion here came with my not knowing the commander finally has dialogue. I was the first PC to be in the Veritas, and back then, none of those bastards said anything. They just stared -- stared with these eyes you just wanted to do irregular things to. Back then, there was no way to piss them off as your faction.

Any way of changing my spawn point? Everytime I die now I die twice just trying to get out!

((I figure if I remake him the same may just happen again because his name will still be on the quest database?!))

Your only hope is the answer I provided above, or somebody braving the Veritas stronghold to retrieve your corpse.

Just deleting and remaking doesn't work too well anyway, as the server would also 'think' you were an already existing character and wouldn't need the initial xp boost to level 3. Leaving you a bit on the weak side. Remaking with a slightly different name however would let you start from a clean slate. Even an apostrophe in the last name somewhere or a space at the end is enough.

Yeah thats what I figured, are there any quests (aside from the veritas one) that change your respawning location?

I hope Urithrand is right and it reverts back after a server reset and I need not worry about it any longer
