    Big, But Small Update

    Just a heads up to you guys that if the server gets laggy for an hour or two sometime within the next day or so it's because I'm uploading a big update to our updater server.

    It's a big, but small update. You'll see why when I post it.

    I will give a hint though, it's a basic feature we've all wanted for a very, very long time.
    The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

        Most of the stuff I want is on the dead horse list though. I'm still holding out for getting challenge ratings removed and sittable chairs.

          LIES! Sundren can not contain my sexly-man-ness!

          i like CRs...i know its metagaming but it flat out sucks when you pick a fight with say at lvl 20 at say...level 1.

          howerver...sitting chairs...would rock. they cause so much trouble though. i remember them back on nwn1, if anyone logged out sitting in one, its breaks.

              D&D is a fantasy setting. Characters shouldn't be picking fights with people they've never met or seen fighting. That frail old man could be the most powerful wizard in all of Faerun, or a dragon in human form. The subdual system is in place, so dying shouldn't be an issue. Anyone who has spent enough time getting to level 15+ knows exactly how punishing death can be.

              I honestly have no idea what the update will be though. Those are my two guesses, mainly because I've been wanting them for so long. But with my luck, I've rolled a natural one on my wisdom check.

                Back on the original Neverwinter Nights the basic chair script could be fixed with some simple modifications. The problem with them breaking if a player logged out whilst their character was sitting was easy to circumvent. It's a shame that nothing can be done so far in Neverwinter Nights II to remedy all of the issues with chairs.

                  Hopefully Item appearance crafting will be one of the small big updates, as it has been mentioned before on the 'to fix' list!
