    For once I'm actually giving a real try to an archer build and so far I'm enjoying it.The main thing that I'm worried about at the moment is "what weapon do I want to end up with?". Several of the recipes have been changed and I wanted to know if the exotic woods have been and if so, what do they do now?

    no all the basic stuff is the same i think. im working on a zalantar wood spear, it should do electric damg. only thing is that these rare components? expensive as hell...or at least thats what i've found.

      Truth be told, I have yet to find a longbow mold in which to actually make a bow using Zalantar. Therefore, I am rather useless on the matter, as I do not know the actual stats =P

        All mundane recipes (craft weapons/armor) should be working just the same as in the OC. Specific material ammunition (to bypass damage reduction) is also on the way, but I don't know yet how adamantine arrows can be made worth using

          As probably the most active crafter on the server I would mention a few things on crafting.

          Zalantar Heavy shield recieves no bonus properties,
          Zalantar crossbow I believe only has a portion of the zalantar abilities listed online
          Adamantine armors -2dr to my understanding does not function (yet)
          Umber Hulk items are no longer Mind Immune, they offer varying ammounts of will saves tower =3 heavy =2 light =1


          Each property of zalantar replaces a potential enchantment you could have placed on the weapon. IE 1 mighty or etc could replace +3ab or +3 deflection ac, etc.. If you aspiring to make an enchanted weapon do some research Unless u want it for simple RP properties like roim.

            Zalantar heavy only reduces the arcane spell failure chance (while light and tower shields reduce it by a greater amount and give an AC bonus. Oddly, this is official material. I'll fix it for Sundren), crossbows of the same material should only be giving an attack bonus of +1, and bows give mighty+2. The adamantine and umber hulk items you have right, methinks.

              Still no longbow and shortbow molds though, this has been mentioned more than once

                  Well, I guess I'll just work with a normal short bow. Thanks for the help. In regards to molds, where are the trap molds?
