    Lag soup

    It's back, and worse then ever.

    Strange things I have noticed.
    1 its bad at night, worse then any other time.
    2 It spikes up really badly when someone DC's, and clears up after they are "X has left as a player." message

    I don't think that's a DC. Many players are fooled by the lag spikes. They think they've been disconnected, and will log out before the things unfreeze on their end. So those who stay in the server notice a spike, followed by a player leaving. I could be wrong, too.

          Use direct connect. That will at least get you into the server.

              We don't need a thread every time someone has a lag spike, right now it just looks like my shitty ISP and nothing to do with the server. I can barely surf the web and it's something on their end.
              The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

                    Any word on when that ISP will fix things? Seems almost nobody can even log in anymore...

                      I hate the world. It's official. Sundren goes down every time I have a day off. Incidentally I got the "This server appears to be behind a firewall or network" message on gamespy.

                      From now on people this thread is to be used only if you feel you have something helpful to add to the situation. If I see anyone spamming this thread with "I can't connect" or "I got teh lagzz0r" messages I will close it. Saulus is aware of the situation and everything that can be done is being done, now sit tight and behave children

                        Well, I'm guessing since we can't get on the server, that Saulus can't get on here and let us know what is going on. Or more pertinent when we can start playing again.
