Yep, I do that too. I usually end up with 1-2 pages full of just gloves, boots, torches, and other such junk which doesn't sell for any gold and thus gets left on the ground. Which then get deposited in a nice little pile near one of the transition points. Every now and then, I'll find a few gold or some jewelry, once I found two gold necklaces and a magical longbow.

It takes a little time to go around and search every bag, especially when half of them are broken and empty but don't go away. But I feel I've done my little part to keep Sundren that much cleaner.

(Herbal Essences moment) Oh gawd yes.

I get to play a coupla hours a week. Not surprisingly I actually get to go "monster mashing" very rarely. And last time Redmane ran into this really fascinating elf pure-blood who seemed really rather nice (not to mention handsome).

So we're merrily rping, having fun, taking our time in the forest. Two characters familiar with moving quietly in the woods and actually having a whispered conversation.

Meanwhile the rest of the party are rushing aroung like The Flash in plate mail, triggering encounters and pulling mobs every which way. At one point myself and my elven friend are trying to rp in the middle of this when one of these clanking behemoths insists "Hey help us out here!"

I won't mention that every mob was making a bee-line for me, and that these twits were doing a fine job of slaughtering any that weren't, whilst the elf and half-elf are bleeding all over the grass and the bear has a black-eye.

I left the party shortly after that.

Not sure what you're really asking here, but if you mean can you physically burn through iron plate with fire, then yes, it can certainly happen. I've burnt quite some metal in my science education, and I can tell you that pure iron usually melts at about 1530-esque degrees celsius. Of course, that's just normal iron. We haven't had a chance to test out +1 enchanted armours in the lab just yet...

            Although we'd certainly like to.

Bottom line, I can see most normal metals being burnt at high temperature, so it's really up to a DM concerning special materials (adamantine, mithral etc.), and whether the source of the fire is hot enough to reach the temperatures required to melt the metal in the first place.

Even though it's rather logic that most people would be quite unhappy with being in just a 200 degree celsius full plate!

When I get in groups where some are just running around constantly, I usually ask IC a few times, whats the rush or why are you in such a hurry. If they ignore me and just keep doing it, which is usually the case, I just let them get far ahead turn back.
If I see them later I say I got lost from the group and didn't know where everyone went so I went back.

That would be quite neat. Would be a really unusual and novel feature, to be true. But finding a good, story driven, basis for the idea would be a lot harder.

Ironwood armor isn't all that unusual for higher level druids. But yeah, best served with RP/quest, not just a straight drop.

I disagree. Ironwood! (Level 6 druid spell)

Ironwood is a magical substance created by druids from normal wood. While remaining natural wood in almost every way, ironwood is as strong, heavy, and resistant to fire as steel. Spells that affect metal or iron do not function on ironwood. Spells that affect wood do affect ironwood, although ironwood does not burn. Using this spell with wood shape or a wood-related Craft check, you can fashion wooden items that function as steel items. Thus, wooden plate armor and wooden swords can be created that are as durable as their normal steel counterparts. These items are freely usable by druids.

And thus, with ironwood, druids should really be able to use anything they have the feats for or isn't otherwise specifically prohibited.

Ironwood I believe is in the material list for NWN2. Gotta talk to Jhiroth our loot and content provider

its one thing for the dms and the owners to require things on this servers but this turn of players posting "im going to tell you how to" or i know more than you posts are getting outta line. Let the DM's and crew decide what is going on on the server and what its rules are.
Its going to get ugly with a player base that whines, points fingers and all around complains about people that have a difference of opinion what role playing really is. We don't need a Rp gestapo thats run by players. Let the dms catch things thats what they are here for. I don't need tutorials on what YOU think something should be.
