  • Character Song!

If theres one song that describes one of your characters, post it here along with the character name. Lyrics are ok too. This is fun, because theres usually a song that makes us think about our characters in some way or another. You can do one song per character.

For Ashley Pauline, I've picked this song:

Wicker Park - The Scientist. (A different version then the Coldplay one, specifically for the movie. Click here to hear it.) Every time I think of Scarletts Anger, and Ashleys hope to be human again, at least in purpose, this song pops right into my head. It's also a very beautiful love song.

''Come up to meet you, Tell you I?m sorry, You don?t know how lovely you are

I had to find you, Tell you I need you, Tell you I set you apart

Tell me your secrets, And ask me your questions, Aww let?s go back to the start

Runnin? in circles, [sounds like] Comin? our tails, Heads on the science apart

    Nobody said it was easy
It?s such a shame for us to part
    Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be this hard
Aww take me back to the start

I was just guessin?, At numbers and figures, Pullin? the puzzles apart

Questions of science, Science and progress, Do not speak as loud as my heart

Tell me you love me, Come back to haunt me, Oh when I rush to the start

Runnin? in circles, [sounds like] Chasin? our tails, Comin? back as we are

    Nobody said it was easy
Aww It?s such a shame for us to part
    Nobody said it was easy
No one ever said it would be so hard
I?m goin? back to the start

    Ahhooooooooooooooooo
    Ahhooooooooooooooooo
    Ahhooooooooooooooooo
    Ahhooooooooooooooooo''

ooo this is fun! Gj on starting this...

Ichbin Vol - March of Mephisto by Kamelot

Mathius Rhinehart - The Wall by Pink Floyd (for more coolness, hear Korn's ver.)

Josef Remi - Stars by Lacuna Coil

Melchiah Rhinehart - Diary of Jane by Breaking Benjamin (if you replace Jane as a metaphor for Tyr)

Nhilana D'ilstar : Jefferson Airplane - White Rabbit

          One pill makes you larger
And one pill makes you small
And the ones that mother gives you
          Don't do anything at all
          Go ask Alice
          When she's ten feet tall

And if you go chasing rabbits
And you know you're going to fall
Tell 'em a hookah smoking caterpillar
          Has given you the call
          Call Alice
          When she was just small

          When men on the chessboard
Get up and tell you where to go
And you've just had some kind of mushroom
And your mind is moving low
          Go ask Alice
          I think she'll know

          When logic and proportion
          Have fallen sloppy dead
And the White Knight is talking backwards
And the Red Queen's "off with her head!"
          Remember what the dormouse said:
          "Feed your head
          Feed your head
          Feed your head"

                Hmm, interesting question...

                Ravenor:
                Mushroomhead
                "Sun Doesn't Rise"
                -Some kind of evidence
                Some kind of reason
                Why I can't find a way
                To begin my life
                -Somewhere in this dying day
If I can only find a way for my escape
I find it hard to concentrate with all my past mistakes
                -To begin my life
-I can't feel my faith can't recall my crime
I think I sealed my fate along the way I may have lost my mind
I guess we're all damaged in our own way
                Alone in our own way
                Distant headlights desolate highway
                -Sun doesn't rise at all
Who knows how far I'll fall
                Sun doesn't rise at all
Who knows how far I'll fall
                -With eyes wide open
I can't recall my crime I think I sealed my fate
I can watch my world evolve

I can't recall my crime I think I sealed my fate
Thoughts inside can make me crawl
                Think I sealed my fate
Make me drop down on my knees
Break me down until I question me
                Darkness can't destroy my drive
                -Sun doesn't rise at all
Who knows how far I'll fall
                Sun doesn't rise at all
                Welcome my downfall
                Sun doesn't rise at all
-Somewhere in this dying day as I plan my great escape
I find it hard to concentrate while you maintain to control
I fold and falter, empty alter, all I gave I pray it makes me whole
I think the brink's around the corner
There's an error in my soul
-I can't feel my faith can't recall my crime

Worst question ever, there's so much good songs

I would say G3 Jam - Rockin' in The Free World ( originally by Neil Young, but Satriani sings it so much better, sorry hehe. ) Actually only the first two couplets actually applies to Darren's true nature, but the overal mood of the songs is just him.

There's colors on the street, red, white and blue,
People shufflin' their feet, people sleepin' in their shoes,
But there's a warnin' sign on the road ahead,
There's a lot of people sayin', we'd be better off dead,
Don't feel like Satan, but I am to them,
So I try to forget it, any way I can.

Keep on rockin' in the free world x4.

I see a woman in the night, With a baby in her hand
Under an old street light, Near a garbage can
Now she puts the kid away, and she's gone to get a hit
She hates her life, and what she's done to it
There's one more kid, that will never go to school
Never get to fall in love, never get to be cool.

Keep on rockin' in the free world x4

We got a thousand points of light, for the homeless man
We got a kinder, gentler, machine gun hand
We got department stores, and toilet paper
Got styrofoam boxes, for the ozone layer
Got a man of the people, says keep hope alive
Got fuel to burn, got roads to drive.

Keep on rockin' in the free world x4

There's definitely one song that uncannily describes Fareed and his relationship to Sel?ne, and that's Kamelot's "Moonlight". (Kamelot in MySpace)

I have never craved the system's sympathy
I get restless over pity smiles
Some precaution wouldn't harm my history
If I had the will to wait a little while

You cut the silence like a knife
You know I can't repent for

                    Moonlight falling over me
Sail on where the shadows hide
                    Moonlight crawling down on me
Just like you could not compete with my pride

                    Compensation for a misconducted life
Is it way too much to ask
                    Hard to wake up
With your heart and soul deprived
                    When the morning comes
                    The second to your last

You cut the silence like a knife
At the edge of my last defenses
You cut the silence like a knife
You know I won't repent for all

                    Moonlight falling over me
Sail on where the shadows hide
                    Moonlight crawling down on me
Just like you could not compete with my pride

Shine on silver, from the sky into the night
Gaia shivers and I need your leading light

                    Moonlight falling over me
Sail on where the shadows hide
                    Moonlight crawling down on me
Just like you could not compete with my pride

                    Moonlight falling over me
Sail on where the shadows hide
                    Moonlight crawling down on me
Just like you could not compete with the pride
                    The rich and the poor
We are all the same in death
                    The unmistakable fragrance
                    Of rigid decomposition
                    Exacts no distinction

Argh. I just realized, I need to give Scarlett Pauline a song too... *thinks hard*

The Birthday Massacre - Broken. If I made a small bio on Scarlett, you'd see why this song appeals to her. Also, the song sounds damned evil. ;D

                        Time is the promise
It turns and tells them what to do
                        It makes them dishonest
They let the suspicion kill the truth

                        Broken Heart, Broken Mind
                        When you let me in
Did you not know where I had been?

                        And love's what they wasted
A lie that makes their dreams come true
                        They're hiding their faces
Their smiles can break the heart in two

Scarlett doesn't seem that evil to me. Rather harmless I thought.
