    Updated Nwn2 and now I can't play sundren

    I just updated Nwn2, not thinking anything about incompatibility issues.. so here I am stuck off of the server . Any idea when Sundren will be updated to match the client version? *cries*

    This is going to be the first of many of these posts today. Imagine an 8 hour work day, now imagine that is between you and a patched server. Now you understand why we don't update the server in 2 seconds.

    If you've updated your game you're fucked unless you want to reinstall for however long it takes us to update the server, it could be tonight possibly, it could be this weekend. I don't know. It all depends.

        Yeah, I made the mistake of updating my client as well. Thinking I can entertain myself for the time being.

              It might help to put out a few shouts to people playing now. I check the boards obsessively but others might not get the information.

              As a general rule, it is a very bad idea to update NWN until you get the all clear from the server where you play.

                  I actually said no to the update knowing full well that I couldn't play if the server was a different version, but after trying a few times to connect and instantly crashing I figured the server had already been updated and updated too. So add me to the list of players who never learn and are fucked.

                    Wow you people are rather stupid aren't you

                    Sorry if that was harsh but if you update even 1 second before you get the error message telling you the server has updated and you haven't ... then your a few watts short of a bright bulb.

                    *To see these portraits on my characters in game just click on the signature pic to download an NWN2 version of all the portraits and extract it to your "..\Documents\Neverwinter Nights 2\portraits" folder.

                      If the server is updated you will get a version mismatch error, not being able to connect is never an indicator that you are running a different version than the server.
