I think people forget it's a curve system 3 to 4 levels, level 3 to 7, is nothing. 3 to 4 levels, level 16 - 20, will be hell for you all.

I used linear scaling of Experience because the D&D exp system is curved. Mathematically, you have around 21000 experience. 3000 of that was given to you. So you have earned 18000. That is the amount you need to go from 18 to 19. So for lower level, you shot up to 7, but for higher level, all that time you only gained 1 level

Pycroft is currently level 5 rogue. I also have not been involved with any DM event (Unfortunately), but have enjoyed all the RP opportunities with the characters. If I ever do get involved with an event, I'm sure I'll get screwed out of it by a stupid area load crash

I usually tend to sit in a bar for about an hour when I'm on hoping someone will notice me, drinking ale.

My character is still at level 2. Being a sorceror makes it difficult to go out on my own and groups aren't always available. That, and having groups that don't wait for me when I hang on area load makes it a bit fustrating. In any case, I've been having some good RP when I am not out trying to shoot for a hunting group.

Due to that evil event last night, I got to level 8 this afternoon...so no more leveling for me I guess.The only reason I'd rush to get level 9 is Battletide. :O

Good fun. I've only been able to get on once since post-Beta, but having fun nonetheless. I have a Wizard, and as expressed by Multi, it is a challenge because you are dependent upon companions at lower levels especially, so I find myself trying to make beefy friends. Patience is critical at these lower levels.

Other than the occasional goob running everywhere and fighting everything, many players appear promising.

Kai is still level 6 right now but that's ok . *shakes head* You know everytime I look at your portrait and see the dozen and a half buffs on you I just shake my head and want to beat something.

Speaking of, you'd still do just fine without any buffs no? I mean you do wear plate ^_^ :P

Definitely, it's a great server with great people. You have a few non-roleplayers that appear from time to time but the DM's are pretty quick to jump on and take care of that problem when they see it. I've only really seen dedicated roleplayers after my first day on Sundren

Mmm, well, I do decent without buffs...but I could cast 2 buffs that make me as strong as 2 fighters essentially. I only do it versus monsters though. But ya...I spread buffs around now more then ever when I can to benefit the whole party.

Sadly I believe I've seen some DM chars but haven't been on for any events. (BTW teleporting GodBeastX halfling scares the crap out of me)

Judah... that name sounds awfully familiar...

*chuckles* still remember during yesterday's event when we were running from the goblin 1000 army charge and Kai and the others were running past random players out innocently killing goblins and screaming. "Run! Run now! Back to the camp!". Such a fun event :P, I think Kai started hitting people with the flat of his blade too >_<.

Tis ok though, one day you well become an archmage. And well.. yeah... not more that needs to be said other then that. :P
