Does Sundren have a shop that sells stuff for sorcs yet? Like Nymphs cloaks and stuff. There've been a lot of updates recently, but I haven't had the time to log in and explore to find out myself.

Nymph cloaks are made only by people who have the "Craft Wondrous Item" feat, and are extremely rare (I've seen two IG total), while personally I've seen alot more items available to wizard than Sorcerer(ess) the total number for either class is comparable with special items for some other classes. Rogues for example have only a few items, same with Rangers. This isn't a high magic server and what magic items you get... you should hoard. I know that I'm wearing the exact same gear I wore when I was level 4 with Kathryn. Trust me when I say, it's more fun this way
Lately the only thing that keeps me from wishing for a worldwide disaster... is that it would probably interrupt my network connection

Sasha Mursadus - Does that hurt? No?... let me try a little harder then... Sasha's Theme Song

While this thread is specific to sorc's, I want to give a brief explanation of the broader picture, at least from my perspective. This kind of question comes up quite a lot (dead horse issue) for various classes, but I'll put on my Smiley Hat (tm) and try to explain a bit about items or lack-there-of.
From my understanding, the server is striving toward the implementation of many different joinable factions. Each of these factions will be complete with aggressive / non-aggressive reactions, quests, ranks for promotion, and yes, stores. While all of the factions are in-game, most of them are not fully fleshed out. In fact, I think only three of them have quests to join and stores for items.
We have a limited amount of staff. The full-time dev's put their talents to work on "backbone" issues--the tough scripting and database things that require an intimate knowledge of the server. Behind that, we have a few folks who play part time / DM part time / build part time (like me). Making items is not hard, but it is tedious. We want most of the store items to be custom, but within our low-magic ideals. Also, I think the goal is to finish up factions, so our efforts are generally put there when it comes to store items.
Basically, things are still in development. But, these stores and items will develop in a way that helps promote the idea of factions on Sundren. Items will come, and the crafting is certainly a giant step toward a broader scope of items, but stores will likely not see a boost in anything for "class X.""Microsoft has to move the Reply All button further away from the Reply button. I also have a note on this issue of magic items. When I first joined Sundren some time back now, it really bugged me trying to find a magical rapier (as some of you may remember) for my shaman, and I got really irate about there being no really powerful magical items. I realise now that I only had these frustrations because I was so used to being spoiled by games which literally throw +1 weapons at you all over the shop from level 3 and they just get more and more powerful from there.
The more I've played on Sundren, the more I've come to appreciate the low magic environment. With the very best weapons on offer being the equivalent of about +2, it's not just you that's restricted it's everyone, so there's no disadvantage. I've realised that all the time in the OC I had relied so much on the gear I got handed on a platter I never really used my characters to their full potential. In Sundren, a hard quest can't be solved by just switching to your other pair of magical bracers and wading through as usual, you have to really think about stuff, and every battle can be challenging.
Edit: Incidentally, when I did get my special rapier, it wasn't bought from a shop or found on a corpse, it was awarded to me by a DM, and custom designed. That feels sooo much better than killing hundreds of goblins to save up for generic item X.Lorlen Locke: "Amazing how the righteous commit acts of tyranny and terror almost as beautiful as our own under their banner of "good".
