  • Couple newb questions.

Hey all, new player here just wondering about some things before i create a character and start playing.

    1. Where exactly in Faerun is Sundren located?

    2. Are there currently(or will there be) Factions that players can join? I saw that there are quite a few factions in Sundren but didn't notice any mention of whether or not players could join them.

That's it thanks in advance for any help, hopefully seeya in game.

    1. Sundren's located just a little beneath the Icewind Dale region, I believe.

    2. I'd like to see factions rise up and currently there is one character in the guard force, and others have been given chances to join, but turned them down.

    Hope to see you too.

I'm too tired. Faerun's located in Toril. D'oh.

Faer?n is the continent on which Sundren is located. Sundren is a valley of our own creation in the Spine of the World, south of Icewind Dale.

The Red Blades will be a PC joinable faction later in development. The quests involved with it will be for levels 10+.
The very existence of flame-throwers proves that some time, somewhere, someone said to themselves, You know, I want to set those people over there on fire, but I'm just not close enough to get the job done.

I figured Sundren was positioned north-west of Auckney (that little barony fleshed out in "The Spine of the World", written by R.A. Salvatore.
