    Troubleshooting Connectivity Issues

    In order to resolve some of the connectivity issues people have been experiencing I'd like to get some more data from people. Whenever you are expriencing large delays in movement, chat, etc (also called 'lag') please either alt tab (if you can) or immediately quit the game.

    If you're running windows, go to start -> run

    Type in cmd and press enter.

    At the prompt type in 'tracert viperwire.dlinkddns.com' (without the quotes).

    Also try the same command except use pathping instead of tracert.

    Please attach the results here as either a screenshot, or paste the information if you can copy it. Please also post the time (GMT -5 Est) in which you experienced the delay, and for how long (if applicable).

    Please keep this thread on topic and only provide the data I ask for.

            Mostly on topic I'd just like to comment that the woman and I are playing from two different PCs in the same room going through the same router and internet connection. When she is having these login/lag/crash issues many times I am not and vice versa when I'm having them she's over there playing just fine. Just wanted to point that out.

            [edit]Also, the PC she is using is a Vista Enterprise box while mine is an XP Pro.
