Stuck at login...

Anyone else seem to always get hung up on the login transition? I have to ctrl+alt+del the client about a dozen times before I can get a successful login.

Yea I've been trying to get onto Sundren since Wednesday. I've slowly gotten to the point where now it is just my CD key not being authorized for some reason that is keeping me from logging on...Hopefully I'll see you all tomorrow in game...but if my luck stays how it has been then i definitely will not.

Hummm... I manage to log in now, but I lag for about 2-3 minutes at a time between movements. It seems it only happens to newer characters...?

UPDATE: Lagging madly, sent a tell and it took 5 minutes to relay. Blarg~!

Yeah, I just had to remake an old char tonight because she was broken. I cannot even move in the port. People are walking by me with no lag at all, while it takes me about 3-5 minutes between actions to event walk or speak.

What the crap. >_<

After getting to the point where my NWN2 install itself somehow managed to get corrupted...
-reinstalled NWN2, completely new install, mind you, including updates
-uninstalled, reinstalled the .net framework and windows installer (3.whatever? Yeah, it don't like Vista...the Sundren Updater wouldn't even install until I got the truly latest 4.5 version)
-Sundren Updater still going bonkers, failing every other update and then miraculously getting to 46%, crashing, but actually finishing the updates (no idea, don't ask)
-Finally log in! Yes! Create character...crash. Ok, go in again. Missing a .hak. Deal with updater. Log in again. Intro movie, level up, walk to docks, crash.
-Log in, start loading the first area...stall a quarter of the way through. Four times.

I'm not griping at anyone, just highly frustrated after the last two hours. Meh. Time to try again. Joy!

Mine will do that as well, load only a quarter of the way [1/4th] before it either instantly transitions to the area or stays that way until I have to forcefully shut it off [generally about 8-12 client shut-downs before I can get in.]

Strangely, it has only begun tonight after I remade my character, so I am assuming this may have to do specifically with new chars. Not entirely sure, but I didn't see anyone else posting about the same thing... -scratch-

Ah, there it goes...and crash. *sigh*

I had zero trouble until these last two updates, then my entire computer started rebelling. Must've been the Star Wars dvd I ripped. I want to see the updates, darn it!

I was doing perfectly fine with everything until I had my character remade tonight. I'm assuming this either has to do with me being cursed, or Sean working on server-side database updates that are kicking our asses.

I won't give up on you Sundren, damnit!

I'm with you two....I haven't worked on this for 3 days now to just give up. any advice about fixing the unathorized Cd key thing though?

I haven't had a problem with that actually, and that would most likely be a result of GameSpy's crappiness.

I'm watching some database related thing happening and I trully believe its the cause of this mess. Saulus owns the server and database so we're gonna have to wait for him to wake up and take a look at it and work his magic.
