    Need help building a Cleric

    I am new here, but my buddy who plays here told me about all the rules and such so I spent several hours reading thru as much as I could find. I researched the rules regarding Clerics and the Deities they choose having to match domains they choose. The Cleric being my favorite class to play I started out great. I built a Human Cleric that is Lawful Good and chose Torm as my Deity. For my Domains I chose Healing and Protection, which according to the Wiki are domains of Torm. However, when I finished it would not let me exit the start room, and gave me the message that ECL classes are not allowed and that I had chosen a race/class which required DM approval.

    I spoke to a DM and they asked me to post a BUG which I did. What I am hoping is that someone here can tell me what I did wrong, or saving that perhaps a combination that DOES work so that I can get started in my new life!

    I appreciate any and all help with this, and if you are very knowledgable and suggest a Deity for me and can also suggest some reading on Background, Cities that use the Deity and stuff of that nature I would even appreciate it more!

    What kind of alignment were you looking for in a cleric? I could suggest a few if you would like, as well as upload their info on the wiki

      GO back in and tell the DM that Sean said to approve you. The DM's were told that this was a bug till the next hak update.

          I think it's cause Sundren is currently at cap for lawful good clerics. You should roll a chaotic evil cleric

          j/k I actually have no idea what's up with all that. Hope DMs get you fixed up

            Might there be a place where I can view world demographics? Where race, alignment, and class counts can be seen so I know what there's too much of.

            Edit: And on topic, a number of domains are glitched. I believe healing is one of them. You get flagged if you have them, but just get a DM to give you the okay.

              The statistics tab at the top of the forum will get what you want, and as for the glitched domains, look at post #3 of this thread.
