singus? where they be?

Just wondering if anyone has seen any singus lately, i aint seen one in months. Even at DM events i've only been given one.
(Figure i ask sense i just erased weeks of exp gather because a ogre casted a stun spell, three times on me)

I would so love some right about a few hours ago. Plus im abit annonyed that a DM (Not sure whome) just dismantled a huge group for a Hano plot (Which... seem pointless. Impending doom is coming... lets all go tell him.... really though, when is it not for hano?). Lovely.

Oh, btw... i was wondering. What is with the random exp lately? I use to see it all the time but im lucky if i see it a few times a night. Seem like i only get it if im in the trade and RPing... even though i RP more anywhere else.

I've only ever had one signus, and I hastily used it to protect my exp when I was a few points before level 8 (yesterday in fact >_>) and didn't fancy working all that way back up again. I'm planning to adventure in groups of at least 3 when i hit level 10, and thus avoid ever having to use one out of necessity

That said, I would always appreciate having at least one on me for similar situations. Shame they're so rare.

The 30 xp ticks are only given out if you aren't fighting anything for 10 minutes (or more). So if you're out in the woods hunting/grinding for xp or gold, you won't get them. The exception to the rule is when you have hit a level cap below 15, or if you have gained a level and aren't taking it yet (then you won't get experience for killing things).

As for the signuses... my own policy is never to go to any dangerous places if I don't have a damn good reason to. Which usually means I don't die unless a DM sends too many big, scary monsters at me
Also, always carry a couple of invisibility potions on you. For yourself and for your group (if needed) to get out of tight situations. The few times that I did almost die while out hunting in a group in the last two months or so, those have saved my life.

Although I do have to agree they could be given out a little bit more, they shouldn't give us the luxury to barge in everywhere whenever we feel like it without much regard for our own safety.

For your group? Isn't that a little over-rated? Just keep one...if you let the ones not smart enough to carry spares, would that help cull out the weak people until eventually we're all smart people?

I suppose that be the difference between do-gooders and bad guys. Hmm?
