is there a guideline on death during DM-run events? as in, do you guys rez them or allow them to go through the normal death cycle (i.e. you lose xp)
here's the scenario: i (Jos'iah) was with Hano, Varnz, and Max chasing down Omnigalas. after a hard fought battle through the necropolis, we finally reached omnigalas (who was pumped up of course via DM). DM intervened since we outnumbered him and I got insta-killed with a DM-cast spell or something.
i was brought back to the abbot, i lost 2700 XP (just like the normal death penalty), and the server crashed. after i logged back on, the DM wasn't around so i couldn't ask if it was intentional or not. sad thing is that i didn't even get RP experience either to help offset the loss.
is that normal?
if it isn't, is there an avenue for me to get my XP back or is it just one of those "you're gonna have to live it" scenarios?
i guess i'm asking via forum so i don't bug a random DM online (and get mobbed by 100 orcs for asking *cringing in fear*)
